Ever feel the game starts to throw bad teams and low damage/penetration rolls at you if you start to perform too well? Been doing really well this week, then today *BAM*. I've played 20 games, 4 wins & 16 defeats.
Ever think WG have systems in place to ensure for every good game, you'll always have a bad one?

If i start to have a bad streak i just stop playing. Not sure if the game is rigged (dont have a proof for or against and i somehow dont trust enough in wg employes to believe em saying it isnt rigged) or if i just perform well, but in both cases its better to stop and continue another time/day when you have more decent games running.
More then once you will loose if you get pissed about the game (after a couple of losses), you just loose cause you try to force wins so badly you just start to play bad.

Years ago players got so paranoid about this that they exited the game and re-entered 2-3 minutes later, to stop it.
I guess we'll never know for sure, but with developers willing to screw the MM "to get more challenging matches for good players" anything is possible.
.
They have no conscience problem doing stuff like that, it helps them to earn more therefore it's not only possible, but also probable.

That's the thing when you have a game with RNG. People will complain that something is rigged. The + / - 25% rolls always bothered me..

I'm sure there is something written into the code to give you bad teams and bad pen/damage rolls, when your on a great winning streak.
the system tries it's best to keep people around the 50% wr! but you always have the special few who can exceed that or the zombie who struggles to get 45% wr.

That feeling is probably just the RNG.

And even if the game mechanic would throw you into more difficult matches, it would help you get better Player: grow with the challenge and so on  :trollface:

EXACTLY. 25% is simply too much, especially for damage. It should be 10-15% max. Keep the randomization, but not to such extent that it decides who wins.
Edit: To clarify, I don't think the game is rigged, only that randomness is what is killing it, at least for me.

People, all this CAN be tested rather easily. All you got to do is to artificially create accounts with bad and good stats. AKA statpadding, and griefing.

The person(s) - idealy a 3 man platoon - watches their teams and damage rolls carefully, as does the *bad* players.
After a while you will get comparable results, and can determine if we are seeing some nifty coding.

Or just remove it for accuracy, or have it really small like 5-7% every 100 m. You can still have it for penetration, damage etc, but nobody will be anymore claimin is rigged.

Is like the rng for autoaiming in WoWP were is much more precise than any manual aiming, laser accurate even if you try to turn to shot away. Oh well that's not rigged, just bugged.

I feel that over the last , maybe 3 months , the win chance gods have been laughing at me from above......they'll let me have a good night maybe once a week , then for the rest of the week they'll snatch it all back and then some......then just when I'm about to rage quite for an extended break , they'll hand me a good nights' gameplay to reel me back in again.......I'm not one for conspiracies but.........mmmmmm.....I've really noticed this trend over at least the past 2 months or so   :amazed:

Sometimes RNG feels far from random.

I think there is a lot more to it than just RNG.

I think the game applies a "correction factor" to multiple aspects of a player's account and games. Probably this is done to keep the game sufficiently mixed to keep people playing - i.e. that it doesn't quickly separate out into seal clubbing at each tier.

My own view is that each of the following is subjected to some sort of +/- alteration by the game engine:

1. MM, based on player win rate - the Op's observation;

2. RNG in game - armour, shot accuracy, view range, etc;

3. Overall tank performance in game (e.g. why do you often detect your tank is slower out of the spawn, or can't see the same as usual, etc - usually before you get rolled by the other team);

4. Permanent tank performance in user's account (e,g. why do people have dramatically lower win rate for a particular tank, compared to their other tanks. Why do very experienced players have such diametrically opposed experiences of a particular tank?);

5. Enhancement of tank performance in Test Server as a buying inducement (why do tanks perform better on the test server - even when being blitzed with gold ammo - than they do in a user account with the very same crew, etc?);

And possibly, as logical methods of managing the game and player community:

a. New purchase tank performance bonus (why does a new tank often win three or four games in a row, then appear to "switch off" for subsequent games?);

b. Selection of high win rate group of players to negate MM theories (or why do high WR players often seem no better in performance than those trapped in the main sub-54% band?);

c. Account corrections linked to spending - premium, gold, premium tanks, etc.

None of these require much tinfoil; they are simply observations in-game or logical means by which a MMPG might be managed and controlled.

If I stopped playing just because the dice were rigged I'd never play anything at all.

Yes MM is rigged. Or more correctly it has determining factors attached to to the selection code inputs. We know the architecture is in place to do this. As new tanks get preference MM as do some premium tanks. That wg have extended this system to cover player struggling in the game. Is, frankly, unsurprising and simple a good way to make money and keep a large player base playing.
