Give me 15k plus restoration cost and I'll give you something better than that...

Give me 15k plus restoration cost and....you'll never see me again! ;-)

I think that £15,000 is a bit pricey though, isn't it?  I'm sure I saw a T-54 on eBay for £5,000 a few years ago...

looking at that picture, that tank seems to be in a pretty good shape. Actually better than some tanks which are still in active service.
I guess that person needs the 15k for the transport costs.

Just paint it gold and sell it to the Chinese for a nice profit  :great:

I would love to own a tank. Imagine driving to work in it or stopping to get fuel  :glasses:

Cool yes.   Practical...less so ;-)
.
The T-54 has a 580 litre fuel tank according to Wikipedia and runs on diesel.  So that's £841 to fill the tank assuming diesel is £1.45 a litre.  And assuming a standard petrol station pump flow rate of 40 litres a minute filling an empty tank to the brim would take 14 and a half minutes.
.
Don't get me started on the other running costs and maintenance tasks.  Not to mention throwing a track (installing a keyboard into the driver's position and pressing 4, 5 doesn't work)

Why not try 'pimp my ride' - http://en.wikipedia....ki/Pimp_My_Ride

They'll certainly 'restore' this T54.

Suggestion. Put the repair kit second, and first aid kit first. Then its 5, 5 to repair track (i.e. your imaginary WoT tank, and not your imaginary real life tank)

Just 15k suggests that the restoration need will be a multiple of that... in addition you may need a heavy load truck to even move it from where it is.  :blinky:

With 15,000 battles where I press 4, 5 to fix my tracks it's hard wired into my brain...it's too late for me to change now ;-)

I had the exactly same thought, but this weekend I turned it around anyway.
.
Don't make my mistake and think: I'll just switch them for each tank before I start a game in it.
You will forget to do it, and you will end up in awkward situations.
.
Go through your tanks and switch them all. Your mind will be used to 5-5 after just a couple of occasions.
Without a single doubt, 5-5 is a lot better as 4-5 for tracks, just as Space for extinguisher is better as 6.
