Really? What a waste.
Noobmeter and a few battles with voice communication is enough to determine who is a good player for your clan.

Depending on the clan perhaps.  Not everyone is as elitist when it comes to requirements for who they're looking for when joining a clan or for what clan they're looking to join.

Think it's more aimed at the casual, tomato and kiddie crowd and not top clans who don't look for members but get looked up by 'good' players instead.

For casual clans this is a nice feature, if ratings don't matter too much, some can look at a few new potential recruits and don't have to spam in-game as much.

In addition, the feature will make some processes automatic; for example when a clan reaches 100 members, the system will hide its terms of recruitment and disable applications to join the clan.
Why would people want that?
I dare to say that every close-to-full clan with CW ambitions has to deal with people who are not contributing, but isn't kicking them because you'd lose chips on the global map. So you kick those guys only when there are people waiting to fill these spots and not the other way around.
On the other hand, most of those clans probably manage their applications on seperately hosted websites anyway...

Nevermind, I don't care.

knowing wg they will screw up with search engine and only thing that will come up when you search for a clan will be message: "there is no good clan for you, you are to stronk, create your own with some mad goladz which you can purchase with even less clicks on normal wot page and if you order now we will get you a free wg emblems and superduperyolocool stalin emblems"   :bajan:

I think that this is a good way for the clans to Recruit new players, and you can see that NA Server already works there...

So i thinks that this is the best way, and i'm supporting this way to do Recruiting alot.

Goodbye from and96 - And good luck on in randoms and on the battlefield  :playing:  :playing:

I seem to be missing a "Personal File" option, unless I'm blind.

It will probably be implemented in conjunction with 8.9 patch tomorrow.

That occurred to me, but the article doesn't seem to say that isn't already implemented. But meh, I'm sure I'll find out come tomorrow.

It's a good addition to add for people who require this sort of function. But for my point is that will there a management system for clan leaders to have ingame?, as currently it's quite difficult to message all the clan (as some have full inbox).

As in game, there is hardly any structure for easement coming to notifiing the clan about platoons/clanwars ect. Would be benefical to have a clan tag next to service record, where the player can click and see information about todays time slots for clan wars ect.

Furthermore it can have tabs for example "platoon" where once clicked upon it can have a list of your clan members waiting for platoons in your clan. Such as a waiting lounge, or a general label next to your player name stating "available" for your clan members to see.

but I wanted to make a personal file.... -___-

so this is why about 6 times there was a bug when applications couldn't be sent to our clans, you guys were messing with the site, trying to implement this thing... I guess it was worth it

but when I look at the applications... so many people below 50 win rate... most of them don't even have tier 10s, and yet they want to have "active participation in clan wars"

I don't think you guys understand how clan wars works...

Doesn't this just create even more recruitment spam?
If you are not in a Clan, I can see guys getting bomberded by "Join our Clan" requests?
As a recruiter I can't see any advantages to using this for a social clan.
It doesn't allow you to narrow down the search it just opens it up to the entire player base!
You can't pick out players based on a 4 stats and a play time.
Edit: I do however see the benefits for a player looking for a Clan. It should give them a good idea of which clan fit there preferences and stat requirements with ease.

....

The feature (link) to send invitations on the clan page was removed.

For everyone who is looking for it:
http://worldoftanks....R0/members/new/

replace the 500023896-ZER0 with your own clan.
