The TOG, the one tank that is large enough for tanks to orbit it, is known for it's size and the fact it looks hilarious. But, what else could a TOG be used for?
Post ideas here, here are some of mine:
  • Act as a carrier to allow tanks to be transported on it, making it even more powerful
  • Form a bridge
  • A large house for a family

Giving the AMX 40 it's only chance to win a race.

a) Repair the bridge on Westfield

b) Block a bridge on Erlenberg

c) Use a platoon of TOGs to block all three bridges on Erlenberg, likely producing a draw

d) Make a TC of TOGs and then.... WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED??!

Aircraft carrier in WoW. Just give it some water wings and it would be good to go.   :teethhappy:

TOG platoons are a little sad. People started to do it after Jingles said it was fun. Seen more than a few copy cat videos around.

I have never platooned in any tank as I don't do platoon game play. But I have twice ended up on the same team as a another TOG. In both games we stayed together and cleared, very slowly, one flank. Now it may have been luck or red players being overly nervous of taking on two TOGs at once. But in both games it seemed to be a very effective way to use a TOG.

I could quits see three guys that did it all the time becoming a very effective unit. That said three guys working in close support in any tanks tend to carry a game to a win more often than not.
