Damage received is part of the left bottom panel,
You probably have to look for another damage panel if you wish to have the original WoT one, that also shows hits received.
.
Damaged done to an enemy is part of XVM however.

I guess as long as XVM remains to be a test, this will be as well.

This mod is great! Have my +1.

Few suggestions for development (if possible):

Calculate potential damage received.
Show player name who shot you (and possibly their XVM -stats)
Different color for shots received from autoloaders (= better hide quickly)

It's already possible to add the names to it, however I deciced to remove it as the info on the left bottom would become waaaay too much.
If you use another hitlog, you would be able to add the names yourself.

If you got to "CDPSetting.xml" in the red_mods folder/gui/scaleform...
You can see what macro's are available for this damage panel.

You can edit the Damage log part yourself and add any of the following to the list.
{{atk-name-short}} - Attacker short nickname
{{atk-veh-full}} - Attacker full vehicle name
{{atk-veh-short}} - Attacker short vehicle name
{{atk-veh-type}} - Attacker vehicle type
{{atk-veh-icon}} - Attacker vehicle icon

SeaFalcon:
I have some problem. I add the macro for tank type and player name who shot me(i use different hitlog), but i see that two things(type/name) only for non penetrating shots...  when i got damage shots i see only tankname what was in the default
Edit:
never mind ;P  I see what i did now :D

Assuming you missed that there is a line for penetrating rounds, and one for non-penetrating.
Just telling, so that others that try to edit won't run into the same problem.

Other quetion:
Can we add an icon for attacker damage kind ? That would so better then long text...
I tried just add a <img src='icon path'> with path for a .png file  between <attack> and </attack> in dmg kind macros but it didn't work. Just see "null" in game.

You're lacking the calibri font family.
However this front comes with Microsoft products such as Windows 7 or Microsoft Office 2007 and higher...

Edit:
For easy editing you'll need to use search a lot to change the fonts quickly without missing any.

I'll try to explain it in a few easy steps:

(There will be a language difference but as long as you fill in the same in the same fields you should be fine)

Change the font in your Damage Received log:

Go to: ...\World of Tanks\res_mods\0.8.9\gui\scaleform

Open "CDPSetting.xml" in your notepad.

Use Ctrl+H on your keyboard and it will show the following:

It will now search for "Calibri Light" and replaced it with "Arial" in the file.
You can replace Arial with any other font name you want it to be.

Do the same with just "Calibri" to "Arial".

You can replace Arial with any other font name you want it to be.

Make sure you do Calibri Light first.

Now, the CDPSetting.xml should be fine after you saved it.
Of course don't forget to make a backup.
This only changed the text font of the Damage received log.

Change the font in your Damage Done log:

Go to: ...\World of Tanks\res_mods\xvm\configs\@Default or ...\World of Tanks\res_mods\xvm\configs\@Kodos depending on which xvm you use.

Open "hitLog.xc" in your notepad.

Follow the same steps as above,
Open the text replace menu in notepad, write down Calibri Light in the first text box and under that the font you prefer and then do the same with just Calibri again.
Save the file and check in game to see if you have done it right.

Go to: ...\World of Tanks\res_mods\0.8.9\gui\scaleform

Open "CDPSetting.xml" in your notepad.

look for the following in the document:

Replace true with false.

Save the file and the middle messages should be gone.

Me being an idiot when testing this.

Damage panel which shows damage received works fine in 8.10
Hitlog, which shows the damage received also works but you'll have to rename the xvm.xc.sample to xvm.xc

This file can be found in the normal xvm folder.
We're talking about XVM 5.0.2 test1 here.

So people should be ready to go, as long as they paste the files to the 8.10 folder instead of the normal 8.9.
Will update the right folder name once I have the spare time.
