Well bad news on that tank it seems:

Quote

Also, an interesting fact: it’s possible the RU251 as a tier 8 German light tank will be scrapped (WG didn’t manage to find relevant info), as replacements are considered (and discussed). There is a possible candidate, but no info on whether WG will go for it or not yet.

Maybe we'd get Aufklarungspanzer Panther II! A bit bigger, a bit heavier!

Aww yiss

Would like it more if AFK Panther could get some serious gun, not this crap... Give it 160 pen 170 dmg gun and then we will talk about grinding anything with it...

To me AFK Panther must die or be relegated to bridge tank roles.
And no, ramming shouldn't be considered something to rely on.

Actually, they based the design on the P.1500 as the tall chassis allowed for excellent observation point.
Top gun is the 30mm MK 103 but of course you can always ram your enemies.

The "right" replacement to go along with the Leopards would be a http://en.wikipedia....r_SPz_11-2_Kurz Schützenpanzer SPz 11 Kurz, with a 20mm autocannon.

Would need most epic soft stats ever to be viable with that stats.

I'm pretty sure we won't be getting anything with a cannon smaller than 75mm unless autoloaded.

Please, the last thing we need is another autoloader.

Funny (It reminds me of the case, where WG told that they had fund infos about the front transmission of the E-series in Münster; and even posted this as news. Later, the true was, they - WG - never called in Münster... was all just a lie)
For the first time the general laziness of WG could work for use *happy*
I think what we, as community should do is:
First: Let WG make the model of this new LT.
Second: Wait, and wait and waiting......When the model is finish. Find the Hanomag RU 251 (I could drive to Koblenz and/or Trier in that case.... maybe late the this year)..... . Most likely is the tank currently in Trier, where currently the Leopard Prototyp B1: Rheinstahl – Hanomag is:
Spoiler
As can be seen both Hanomag prototyps have a close hull.... just the number of the roller is different.... on the RU is it 5 (see here). Leo PTB=6, Leo PTA=7.
Third: Tell WG that the progress in RU-251 -> Leo PTB -> Leo1 makes sence. Pressure WG to make the Kette. WG makes the RU after all and the new LT becomes the new tier VII, as the model is already made. *happy*
This time could WG laziness actually work for us, the player.
Edit: Lol I see now the place lololololololol... So funny.... The Sturmtiger in Münster is such a small thing... can be fast overlooked.
Spoiler

Staufen, if you ever drive to Koblenz you should also ask them about WWII germany uranium ammo tests, Speer mentions some were done in 1944 and would give the Germans an unique and competitive gold ammo if we find proof about calibers over 37mm.

Sure when I drive by......
But first. I wait until they made your tank. Then I ask what they even need? I mean.... ammo load, etc...? Or even close up pictures etc?..... And what I get for it. Then in the end I would do WORK for WG, which clearly they could easily do. I mean with a Semester-Ticket (Student-Card) you pay just 59 euro for Paris-Cologne and back.... from Cologne to Koblenz is it about two hours and ~25 bucks...
So, the easiest way would be for WG to send one of there unpay interns for a trip  .... or tell me what they need and give me some benefit (some premium tanks, Type 59, PzV/IV... etc). Because, doing the WORK for WG and then get call names/insulted by a developers isnt really a goal by me   .
About the ammo: Nevertheless I had planned to visit there, so my premium runs out in ~56 Days, most likely I will do a break, and play some EVE for a wail; therefore I will try to visit it Dec-Jan..... Post something (before the break) if I find anything....

I really can't wait for them to finally release this tank.

Does anyone know which possible guns it could mount? And if there is a possibility of it having a 90mm.

Finding no relevant data didn't stop WG from implementing the new WT auf E100...
So what is the problem now i wonder.
