I have some bad news.

From beginning of month, generator has following traffic: 218 GB
That means about 4 571 791 displays of signatures.
By simple math, you get to 182 871 shows per day.

Today, I got unpleasant email from my webhosting provider, that they will BAN my website if I don't stop providing this service.

I didn't expect, that there will be so big interest about this service. I don't have money for pay better webhosting, so only option is shutdown this service.

I'm really sorry.

If you have better options, there are all sources:

Isn't there a way WoT could take it over? and maintain it?

I don't think so. Currently, I'm trying to find best way to start it again, but I don't think, that I'll find it.

Thanks for the advice. I think because it was because I wasn't using a capital letter on my user name because in the url it didn't use one.  I didn't get chance to try this out before the site went down but thank you anyway.
Sorry to see the site go down.  Good luck with finding another way :)

Regards

Oh mine http://forum.worldof.../Smile_ohmy.gif That's very sad indeed! And it's already 2nd signature generator that disappears...
I might be able to host it on my website but at the same time my traffic limit is even lower as I'm using free hosting service, so not many people could use it or the update would have to take place less often, maybe once in 3 days or once in a week (yes, I know it sounds ridiculous) http://forum.worldof...mile_unsure.gif

Good news.

Friend of mine just offered me to try it with his hosting.
I'm currently working on some configuration.

I had no idea a sig generator would generate that kind of traffic.  This is a real bummer.  Best of luck trying to work stuff out with your friend, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Sad to hear how this brilliant thing came to an end..

And awesomely big thumbs up for the sources.. (I'm too lazy to do anything on my own :-p)
I would have one question tho, it seems to use mysql to store data(?) - but I didnt find db creation specs anywhere?

I removed that part, because I was working on it, and it wasn't working correctly.

Great to see the return of the Zippyho signature generator, which has moved to a new place!http://cdn-frm-eu.wa...le_honoring.gif

I can see that the alignment bug still exists and you can see it in my sig... I wonder if and when you will get it sorted, it also occurs if I use more stats, 'Destroyed' doesn't have to be the last of the first column/first of the 2nd column. If not then I'll make the font smaller to avoid the bug.

Also, I noticed one mistake + one more missing stat!! Yes, for some time after you added the 'Hit Ratio' stat I thought all the main stats were displayed but now I realized that one stat is still missing and another one bugged http://forum.worldof...Smile_smile.gif Guess which stat? (After you have guessed look down to see the answer.)

The missing stat is 'Victories' and the current stat named 'Victories' is messed as it shows the value of 'Wins/Battles' (win ratio) but position of 'Victories' (which doesn't have its value shown at all) http://forum.worldof...mile_blinky.gif

News

You can now generate image containing only your tanks! Result will look somelike this:
http://ovocnari.eu/g...na@eu@13111.png
Create yours at: http://ovocnari.eu/index_garage.php

2Tuumi: Enter your id as 500507986-tuumi
2driv4r: I know, it kind of compromise. I don't think, that someone care about actual count of victories, Wins/Battles ratio is more informative. :). I thought that I fixed that bug. I'll look at it :)

Glad to see you back up and running :)

I've not used a forum signature before so I'm afraid I need some really basic advice.  I can now get the generator to generate a preview which is great.  However where do I go from there?  I have pressed the generate button and after a slight pause nothing seems to happen.
Do I need to retrieve some sort of code?
If I do, what do I do with it to make it appear in my forum posts.  I tried copying the url of the preview and putting it in as a html type of signature on my profile but it just displays the url, not the signature itself.  Unless you click on the url..

Again, any help or advice would be appreciated. Keep up the good work  :Smile_great:

I have noticed that the first time you press generate, that sometimes it doesn't work.  Just click it again and you should be taken to a page with the code you need.  It will be the one with img tags.  Just copy and paste that into your signature.

Indeed, you were correct.  I needed to click on the 'generate' button a second time.  Thank you  :Smile_honoring:
