Hello people
Another "E-100s-real-or-fake" sh1t again :D

Meh. I'm just wondering if Jagd E-100 has ever existed on paper or not.

I just googled about Jagd E-100.
Some people said it's completely fictional and it's invented by WG.
But a dude said : "The Jagd E-100 is no more fantastical then about 50% of the tanks in the game.  Design briefs were issued, models built and presented to Guderian himself in Jun-Jul 44 before a construction and design halt was ordered in response to the Normandy landings (again reference from "Panzertracts 6-3" relying only on first hand sources and documentary evidence)"

I'm confused.

By the way WT E-100 and StuG E-100 (Or E-100 Crocodile) are science fiction tanks.
WT E-100 is invented by WG.
StuG E-100 is invented by a plastic model company.

I heard that E-100 has blueprints of turret and chassis and the E-100 chassis was captured by British Army.

My problem is
Has Jagd E-100 existed on paper as well?

This is not War Thunder, I am not saying that any of these games are bad, both are cool. I believe that WT is aiming at real time battles and real vehicles, so if you want to play tanks which were built earlier on, go for WT. This game is more arcade than realistic, but it offers some common sense. I am afraid that WG will continue to install such vehicles, paper based and so on. As far as they are balanced or so. There are some historical battles here, limited but they are, and I am sure that WG will do more progress towards historical battles, vehicles and all the good stuff. Keep in mind that this is just a game, all right?

Cant be more from the truth since only the most popular ones will be historic the reast just made to work (Beaufighter X had 6 7.7s not 6 12.7 which is quite massive diff) and we still havnt seen Top German tanks.

SilentStalker mentions the JagdPanzer E-100 quite many times. And he says that it's "real". At least as real as a paper tank can be.

You can search the old FTR blog since I can't link to there.

LOOK.
I don't care anything about the comparison of WT and WoT.
My problem is : Has Jagd E-100 existed on paper?

No, probably. They just took the existing E-100 chassis and waved their wand. Same as the E-100 and WT E-100. Only that chassis existed. Or they found some writing and graffiti from German designers.

Jagdpze100 is more real that amercian tds and even soviet tds.
Gun is real, chassis is real. Americans tds are completely fake, ob 268 had bl-10, gun it has in game is wg creation.

1) E-100 = unfinished prototype that wargaming "finished".
2) Jagdpanzer E-100 = Proposal that wargaming "completed"
3) Waffentrager (and Gw) E-100, E-50M = Wargaming "taking German design ethos to natural conclusion"
4) Stug E-100 = Model company "well that looks cool, who cares if its impractical".
Personally I don't mind parts 1 and 2.  I could do without 3 but understand why it was necessary for the spg and medium, not so sure about WT E100.  4) No thanks.
