Congratulations of finally getting it released!

However, sadly I'm playing War Thunder as I simply enjoy it a lot more. WoWP is simply too arcady for me, I don't like the flight characteristics and I find the graphics lacking compared to the competition.
-
This does not mean WoWP is without it's merits though

It's okay-ish, but the 1-plane-per-game just makes it kinda lame. If only there could be a third game combining WoWP and WT's benefits.. e.g., choosing 5 planes to fight with, but then in a WT-like environment.

I'll just play the premium/gift planes I got trough the ALPHA/BETA for free Xp that will be common with WoT, for WoT
I have no real intention of advancing trough WoWp tiers

Thanks for the 3 free airplanes, though I was not the most dedicated Alpha Tester  :hiding:

BTW guys, since gold is shared between WoT and WoWP, you might want to do the WoWP tutorial - it takes few minutes and you get 75 gold free for WoT. Not much, but free

There is no common free exp yet is there?

Otherwise you would have some WoT player with money to burn having a tier X plane already.

Using joysticks in WOWP makes my brain hurt...

WT works fine with Joysticks and my TrackIR...

Same here.

War Thunder is simply superior to WOWP in its current state.

I will follow the development though and maybe check back in a year or so.

I'm not the only one I see  :hiding:  Haven't launched the game since alpha, mostly because I'm a terrible pilot  :teethhappy: But will definitely try WoWp again, and while I'm at it compare it to War Thunder.

Well, having the shared premium account with WoT is a nice thing but I find myself enjoying dogfights in WT much more, I've played them simultaniously for a couple weeks and after a while I just could not bring myself to launch WoWP anymore. Even though it is a well designed game and attractive in it's own way.
I think however that in Wargaming's quest to make this game accessible to a broad audience, they went overboard and basically created a game that does nothing better than the competition.

Hmmm.NO!I did plaid for a while but is too arcade and the fact that planes have hp is such a issue.War thunder is better.I mean yes is nice that you try to make people play it by offering premium accounts but for now i will stay on world of tanks and war thunder

And the fact that tanks have HP is not such an issue to you?

Not interested at all but congrats nevertheless.

The only thing that (maybe) would have me install Warplanes, would be some sort of an easy way to get a premium account so i could use it in WoT. And even than i wouldnt be playing it much longer than that.
