There was a thread that was on it's third page already, someone was making it and was actually pretty far in it but I just can't seem to find it anymore... Even Jingles posted in it! I don't see a reason why a mod would delete the thread but...

A possible reason for closing the thread is that wg are less than happy that players are a bit p*ssed over getting no British voices for the UK tanks. There was a lot of non Brits complaining. So wg could not just brush it off as a bit of island fever form the land of tea and warm beer. They could also not come up with a good reason for not have the voice overs done. Other than they couldn't be bothered and didn't expect anyone to be fussed by it.

Ho as a last point we have over 45 primary ascents in England and some 350 sub forms. That is excluding London. Its also excluding Scotland Wales Northan Island, The Channel Islands, Isle of White, The Isle of Man and so on. Also excluding all the none native sub forms commonly used in the UK. So picking an ascent for the British is always going to displease someone. I would personally go with Oxroveyon or a default 1950s BBC news reader. But Jingels would be good and way more amusing.

tjhis problem could be easily solved by WG putting up a poll for this, it would take few hours of browsing the net to find some samples and put them on the forum as links so people could choose.

but that would require common sense and company willing to improve their product rather than cashing in on the fact they are monopoly (for now, WTGF hists closed beta next month)

Could be, but I doubt it. The thread was alive for several weeks, I think close to a month

Here's that other thread where Jingles himself has posted: http://forum.worldof...r-british-crew/

Latest post there was made 13th of November, so it hasn't been inactive a long time. I think it's still in development at the moment.
