"are took part" or are taking part?
and a small typo "organiaed"
This proves yet again that no one is proofreading before posting and it is a super small text  :teethhappy: , a well business as usualy.
Nice that you have made the corrections, as for the rest  :playing: !

if you gave one time offer of let's say 500g for taking part in the tournament, you wouldn't have to advertise it, it would spread like wildfire on word of mouth. This way, 8000g winning against a huge number of no-lifer pro teams, average Joes have no chance, so they don't even try. These 8000g is not for us. Increase prize pool.

If those "no-lifer pro teams" were thinking they can't win. They would never win.

If you track our eSports scene, you'll notice that NO team is constantly dominating. Almost every tournament we have new teams who reach quarter finals even though they have never played before in any tournament. It's possible to get the gold, but you have to put some effort in order to win. If anyone could win it, what would be the point of competing?

Training hard always pays off  :great:

you missed the point completely. you want as many people to play your esports so your game could earn more money, right? in this way, only 0.001% of players care about your tournaments because there are no-lifer teams (as in plural, not one domineering team, but 50 domineering teams) they have no hope winning against even in first rounds. we just skip through your ingame announcements and news posts as it is a spam, nothing more for us. if you want your other 99,999% customers to take part in this making it more popular you need to have a tiered structure to support various good playing teams, not just 32 best ones or you have got yourself an audience of 32*7 people. since this is not exactly a spectators sport, by being interesting to a very small percentage of elite players it is worse than having only euroleague without eurocup and eurochallenge, or champions league without league europa and regional leagues or premier league without 2nd and 3rd and 4th division.

When 20.000 players register for the tournament, I wouldn't say it's 0.001%. If you take that amount from our current CCU, you'll see it's more than 10%.
You can see many people being enthusiastic about the cup, even though 90% of them will not be in top places. So I disagree about the spam.

So if we have only "elite" players winning. Let's see our past tournaments

Fun Cup - The Final TankDown
DERP  3:0 Momentum - I've never seen these teams before this cup. Elite? Yes they are but after they prove themselves in the tournaments (eSports)

Mangled Metal Season 5
9.Tanková divize  1:3 VIP.eu - Never heard about these teams, but yet again they're in the finals

and so on...

Every tournament you'll see new teams ending up in Top 16 and getting their share of the prize.
Even with separate leagues, divisions... this wouldn't change anything. You would still have to win and prove you belong in the top.

What a great idea.  I really love the idea of a Tier 6 tank company battle in a tournament.  I'm sure my clan would be up for it having just fought our first few clan wars battles.  But then I read the rules, and find this:

"Teams are automatically invited into games starting from 19:00 CEST on each of the match days, there is a great guide on how this works!"

Now that's 17:00 GMT.  That pretty much rules out the UK players in my clan from playing.  No-one is going to be home from work/study and ready to fight at 4:45.

Can I suggest running some kind of tournament for us UK/Ireland players by giving us a 19:00 GMT (or BST in the summer) start time?  I appreciate that this a relatively small player base, but the way things are we are totally left out.

How about it Wargaming?

(While I'm special pleading for the UK, how about some British accents for British tank crews - much though I love America, they definitely didn't supply the UK with tankers).

This website states that it will actually be at 18:00 GMT, although I'm not really that sure anymore XD
Edit: wait wait wait... when they say CEST, do they mean Central European Standard Time or Central European Summer Time? Because Standard is +1 GMT, and Summer is +2...

We moved the tournaments from 18:00 CET to 19:00 CET but it's not possible to move it anymore. Our time zone is like this and pushing it at later hours is not possible.
Imagine if we would start at 21:00 CET, our games would be played until midnight.

We use CET at the moment, and in summer of course it's CEST :)

Ok, so I'm probably sounding really stupid right now, but what time is the game being played in GMT then? I'm kind of slow to catch on to things ;)

Our tournament page shows battle times in your time zone. So it converts automagically :)

The best thing is to google for autoconverters, I'm horrible with these time zones too  :hiding:

IF that's the tournament page, then that doesn't convert to GMT, but I'm guessing that using converters, it will be 18:00 GMT. Right?

Once we create a tournament sheet and set the times for the battles, then you'll be able to see the time converted to your time zone.
