Hi
I always love the Jpanther but WG makes it so hard to buy it with 60k xp!!! it's even more than a Kv-4 that costs 54k!!

Plz find a solution and + Jg 4 have a KV-1 gun hard to make xp very fast

I see no problem with the XP costs. You should learn how to play.

play jgpz IV like a buffed STUGIII and you should have your xp soon enough.

I swear KV-4 was more than that.... any way JgPz IV is a great machine (use the STUG's gun!!) so 60k xp shouldn't be to bad

Only took me 2 months (of weekend playing) to get my ST-I (at 160,000 xp)

Grinding the 60.5k exp for it isn't really that hard, however if you're struggling with the 8,8 cm L/56, you have the option to mount the 7,5 cm L/70.
Both guns are good, but depends on whether you want alpha or penetration.

I assume the kv-4 costs so little xp in comparison, because when you grind the kv-3, there are a sh**load of modules to unlock first. Unless you skip then and farm with a gimped tank the whole journey, which seems pointless since you'll need those modules when you get the kv-4.
And yes, jgpz4 is pretty bad, the jagdpanther with everything researched makes up for it though.

Use the 75mm L/70 and it isn't all that bad. Play it just like the Stug, just a bit more carefully with all the tier 8 tanks in the game.

The JagdPanzerIV solves the main problem of the StugIII: more ammo. Just use the L/70 and think of it as StugIII v2.

I tried the 88 on it this weekend just for laughs - haven't checked it but it feels as if the shells travel with more of an arc and/or slower. And of course they fail to penetrate far too often.

Never think you're an assault tank, always look at the map, think where the enemy is going to and think where you need to be to hit them in their sides. Manage that and you'll have a lot of fun in the JP4. If you sit still plinging the front of some tier 8 heavy, you're missing out on the fun.

And it also effectively doubles your HP pool which means you won't get one-shotted by the Russian 122mm guns anymore like you did in the Stug which gives you a chance, if you're spotted and hit, to quickly fall back into cover and relocate, albeit only once or twice depending on who is shooting at you.

KV-3 and KV-4 have both quite a lot of modules you need to unlock to elite it, without most of the the tank is pretty bad (got ace tanker in KV-4 with only the stuff from KV-3 though) ST-1 continues this, if you do not have the BL-9 researhed ou are goin to have a bad time, plaing the jagdpzIV is a walk in the park
