SHhh guys lets not expose our selfs amongst this children around here :)

Some of my favorites were:
SAboteur,
Bruce Lee
Commando
Chequered Flag
TopGUn
F15
Tomahawk
Lords of Midnight series
etc  etc..

BTW Spec was way better BASIC-wise then C64 where you had to do 70% of things by POKE this POKE that commands..

Vuk Commando was a game that I love 2 play on C64 just couse of that brilliant music by:Rob Hubbard....For all of you who love this tune here is the remix by Instant Remedy...

Let me give some more names I treasure up in my heart:

Exolon,
Tau Ceti II,
Elite,
Quazatron,
Mercenary Escape From Targ,
Dizzy series,
Heavy on the Magik,
Batllezone,
Nether Earth,
Equinox,
ATF,
Swords n Sorcery,
Tomahawk
F-16 Combat Pilot

I marked those which could probably rise my interest to tactical games like WOT.

Taking into account countrywide popularity of Speccy-clones in USSR in those days of old it might be supposed that some games from the list was known to WG team also :Smile_honoring:

You are my man...

But i prefer only Dizzy Series, Nether Earth (my favorite), Elite
I stil have my ZX specturm under the table with tape recorder and melodic (three canal music) and 200 Tape¨s

I add Bloodwich, Knights of Lore, Golden Axe, R-Type and more more more....

One game was with tanks, i dont know exactly but only wire models, but funny... mybee battle tanks
And one excelent game from armored games on PC similar as World of tanks - but 2MB size, and you have 11 slots for tanks and must buy for finished mission more and more tanks and try destroy enemy - if you was destroyed, you just switch to another tanks, all tanks fight in one time - you drive one, CPU others, you can swicht betwee them arbitrarily..

sooo try it if you can

I remember that while playing ATF my ECM, i think it was "J", key was not working (typical ZX problem - your foil with contacts thin  out and you are done - it has to be changed) so every time there was a missile launched at me i was stabbing that poor key with all i could find near me  - pencils, keys, markers,my fingers ,layers :)
IT was race against time will i manage to find "softspot" and make my ECM jammer work or missile will hit me :D

Hehe, all Eastern Europe was making clones of Sinclair's Spectrum.
I've played with some Romanian variations (HC-85, CIP, TIM-S, HC-2000), then I owned a Russian one (Sintez2).
Tones of hours playing and coding (BASIC, PASCAL, ASM) on those little beast...
Good times :)
