Confusing news.....
I was watching WCG through Russian stream and they said that RU server won in a sense that Ukraine team is theirs, but part of it plays in the EU WotProLeague with their twink accounts, because of better farming opportunities.

Dignitas are a RU team from Ukraine playing in EU... saying that a EU team won is a bit of a stretch...

Team Dignitas has been playing on the European cluster in the Wargaming.net League Europe since season 1, they are a predominately Ukrainian team (and exclusively for WCG), Ukraine is an Eastern European country.

Great guys either way, congratulations to both WUSA and Team Dignitas! Cya both in season 4!

Uhmmm 4 Russian, 1 Russian/Swiss, 4 Ukrainian according to their team page...

I've nothing against the guys, fair play to them and congrats on the victory, I can only aspire to their skill and teamwork. Still think billing them as an EU team is a big stretch regardless of how long they have been playing in the EU league.

Guys. Realize that the majority of the team are Europeans so I believe it's much biased. I mean Asia' only represented by Japan, China, Vietnam and Korea. In fact we're missing Singapore and Malaysia, the 2 tougher countries in SEA server (Indonesia's still catching up).

6 teams from eu (germany, poland, ukraine, belarus, france, uk)
6 teams from asia (japan, korea, china taipei, vietnam, thailand)
2 teams from north america (usa, canada)
1 team from eurasia (Russia)
1 australian team
