Gameplay over graphic is just people who can't afford the equippment (Most of the time). UUhh It's eye candy, can't wait to drive some of those monsters instead of these punny little arcade tanks we have here.

I can afford the hardware just fine. Eyecandy just doesn't keep me interested and lasts maybe a day.

Good gameplay on the other hand lasts years.

The models in War Thunder look far more detailed, and yes the graphics in WT is still impressive on medium settings. And I guess the engine is better, but hey, the creators of WT have other games which "allowed" them to go further than WG. Note that WoT is their first product, so show some understanding.

Any idea when we will see tanks?

Can't run WT at high details anyway...

And I prefer gameplay over graphics... there are many brilliant games with rather crappy graphics... and many games with brilliant graphics but poor gameplay...

I dont know about your specs, but I can run WT at movie or whatever its called (max settings) and still get above 60fps on my 5 year old computer (it has a modern gfx card tho, the gtx 760). WT runs far better on my rig than WoT. And it looks a ton better as well

Even if I hate (illegal) leakers: Wow... those textures look really amazing and better than I imagined. Well done. That makes me even more curious about the rest of the game.

btw: I agree with the "gameplay over graphics"-guys... but please tell me you didn't want to imply that WoT offers a kind of high quality gameplay.

aye they look nicely detailed.....a shame they have every tank looking like a pile of scrap.

now by all means have the tanks looking used but they have gone way too far - somebody got far too carried away with the rust brush.

Fanatically detailed piles of junk

Yeah... like Adam and Eve were the prettiest humans of their time (until Adam noticed that there was a unique male bodypart hidden behind that leaf pinned to his hip).

That said: If WoT won that price simply because there is no competition at all, it doesn't mean that it can't be bad.

Model details and texture quality greatly affects Visual satisfaction at the same time as it does not stress modern hardware. WG keeps their models low quality because nearly all russian players sit on outdated hardware playing at 10FPS as is. Also they dont want to spend the effort on actually improving the game.

Tho they have promised to actually improve models, textures and meshes in 2014 i dont think they have the quality in manpower to pull it off.

Like i mentioned. Plastic tanks, playing outside with my neighbor. Better than any random battle.

WT is so much better game, even with planes. It runs so much better with awesome graphics than WoT.

Optimization is the key. War Thunder's audience is also 70% russian sitting on the same outdated hardware. Nonetheless the game works like a charm

If there is will and money finding people to do the job is not a problem. Atm there is little will, competition still not here and number of players (games per moth) is still rising. Looking at WG stocks money shouldn't be a problem either.

I see many rave on about graphics. But the WT explosions look terrible, and the ground enviroment looks allot worse then WoT's updated maps. Especialy after 8.10.  Tankmodels wins WT hands down though
