Which one is better, flak or the one with big damage?

5CM. no doubt.

A great penetrating, good damaging gun.
3 shots and you even kill a T28 with it

I tried it. 3 shots for a t28? That's probably one out of 30 LuchsVST28 situations, unfortunately.

Generally, both are good. Mounting 5cm means that the tank is much more clumsy due to heavier turret, but you may engage all light tanks and some mediums with easy. On the other side 2cm with small turret means that driving PzIIL is like riding VW :)
IHMO light version is better untill you have crew skilled to 98-100%.

The Luchs should have a better autocannon though. IMO it should get the 30mm MK108

Good idea. However, since it's a german tank.. it wont happen :)  :Smile_great:

I don't recommend the autocannon, I tried it, it could hardly penetrate anything. Use the 5cm cannon. Even with the bigger turret, this little tank is as fast as lightning.

For me I use the 20mm autocannon with the stage one turret. I believe the extra weight from 2nd turret and 50mm gun mean a decrease in accelleration and turning performance.

Well, it "feels" that way.

Besides, I'm hardly still enough to actually AIM with a 50mm...in a LUCHS you need to keep moving, jinking and yes...spraying away with that autocannon!

I get some good kills but ideally you're a light tank, don't take on many Mediums...go for light tanks and artillery and YES you CAN kill those perfectly well with the autocannon, you don't want to be shooting the front of an artillery gun as he'll just one-shot you! lol

Only mediums I do tend to engage are PzIII's and M2's in general as I can penetrate their side and rear armour, which are my targets of choice for any encounter anyway.
