Wow....so...

double tank experience + extra 50% crew experience....

Does that mean a total of x3 crew experience

amount_of_exp_received_in_battle x 2 x 1.5?

Without event, you receive 1k xp.

With x2 xp event you receive 2k xp.

And with 1,5x crew xp, your crew receives 3k xp. So yes, 3x crew xp basically.

How little do you get paid? Most people would only need a few hours of overtime to simply buy the IS-6. Spending endless hours slaving to get one for "free" seems very expensive to me once you factor in the time you need to play.

It's not about the free tank or the cost or money.  It's about completing a challenge and achieving a goal.

Really? So if WG put a Mission: "Do 700,000XP in 1month and you rule!" ... you think people would bother? Just how many do you think would start massively playing t6 if it wasn't for the tank, but only for the challenge?

And why are we pretending this is a "challenge"? A challenge is something that requires thinking, skill, inovation. This IS-6 mission in MMO terms is called "grinding". AKA "time sink". It's not a challenge. You just need to stop doing everything else in your life and spend time on grinding the mission.

Really?  Yes

And in answer to the rest of your post - I don't know and I don't care.  WG set a mission, it appeals to me, I am trying to complete it.  I worry about myself, not what others think or do when it doesn't imapct me at all.  I guess it's a bit like being a spectator on the route of a marathon - you can either cheer the runners on or not.  But if you're not supporting, why are you even spectating...?

Let me start by saying that I do not plan to get that IS6 because this would turn playing WoT from a hobby into work, but thats just me. Krazypenguin and many other see this as a challenge and are willing to go for it. Who am I to argue with that ?

So use this great special to get that IS6 guys, I'll use it get some crews on their third skill.

What you and others don't understand is that you can get IS6 while you playing.

What work or how much i get paid has to do with this ?

Its one of the best specials. If you don't like it or don't have time for it then i'm sorry but as you can see there are ppl that are participating.

So good luck on the battlefield commanders :honoring:
