but testing ID 5 it's a tier 5 engine of T-34 ... ID 2 is the chassis and ID 3 the turret, but this is tier 5 vehicle and lower tiers than it must have higher IDs. I wouldn't try to make any interpretation from the IDs - I think they use just a free one.

 

Telling what the top gun is - with two tier 5 guns is difficult and not always easy to say. And top means not always the best choice for my game play.

I checked with a script and you are right, I shouldn't base top config on module id. At last I decided to take the wiki's approach. Use base config for stats and add a modules list.

My proposal:
add the ability to run clan reserves via API, it would be very helpful for regular run reserves  in clan

This would be a nice idea - we could allow all guys activate a reserve via webpage, if there are more than X players online and her played a certain number of skirmishes during the last period.

 

There should be a "what happens if" or better "do it now" flag - to prevent the support from dealing with our bugs.

 

And we should have the overall resources income for every player back, to calculate.

So what are the actual request limits these days? I am running into REQUEST_LIMIT_EXCEEDED quite a bit.

It seem that WG has completly forgoten the Public API.


Last "News" dates from May and was about the new EU law for data protection.
Last change on the API itself dates from over one year ago and was about some badges (!) and players statistics in Ranked battles and Epic random modes.
Deprecated methods from October 2017 and July 2017 have never been replaced and the new features the comunity have been asking for ages never show up.
@Hedeone himself made his last apearence um December 2017 (allmost one year ago).

 

The game has chaged so much in the last year and none of that is reflected on the API.

 

Clan management relies so much on the API data and WG doesn't seems to care about clans! :-(

 

So my feeling is ... We're on our own guys! :-(

 

The strange thing is that there are many sites showing so much information that it feels like there is some other API than the Public API. Is this feeling near any truth?

For the NA-API (https://api.worldoftanks.com) the SSL cert expired.

Please fix this.

Can you tell, what kind of information other sites have?

 

As fare as I know some options will only work, if you collect information from many sources an patch the data you get from the API. One sample may be the price in gold for a vehicle - some information you can get, some information are not in the API. So I add prices from shops or tanks.gg - I think, they get the values from game client.

 

But, unfortunately Wargaming seems to forget the API :(

Short description: private.credits in https://api.wotblitz...b/account/info  doesn't get updated in timely fashion.

 

The WOT Blitz Player Personal Data endpoint https://api.wotblitz...tb/account/info

when accessed with access_token and requesting private data, returns private.credits not updated as long as the player is still in the game.

The private.free_xp comes updated each time after match has finished. Can we get private.credits to be updated together with private.free_xp?

client language is gone ... you can do this on RU cluster, where nearly everybody can read Russian ... sorry guys it's stupid to fight nationalistic and racist talk that way.

I can confirm the client_language in account/info is now "" (empty) for all accounts.

GDPR doesn't apply to avatars and fictional player names!

It only concerns if personal information can be related to a person. "Person" is the key word! An account is not a person. Therefore, GDPR doesn't apply!

Why it shows no any info http://api.worldofta...148b324ca23a9aa , is the encyclopedia of tanks working for anyone? Rating calculation stopped working properly on February after I changed email what was used with app id,  now I changed it back and still can't get average tier so I don't even know what was exact reason.

Do I really have to use tank suspension's tiers to calculate player's average tier? Or is there a special way to calculate it?

First . sorry my English. in this forum I ask you to tell my message to the game makers. I like this game a lot , but I dont like how the game running, This I mean that when I play game,  situation is moustly this : my game is two tiers lower than others. Next: I shoot enemy and hit with green but no effect. enemy shot me once and I am dead. This is why I don't buy any wehicles yeat. Pls copypaste this and send to people who makes this game. !! Have a nice day. :)

I do:

 

   Number of random battles with TankA   *   tier (TankA)

+ Number of random battles with TankB   *   tier (TankB)

+ Number of random battles with TankC   *   tier (TankC)

...

_______________________________________

= MySum

 

average tier =  MySum / overall Number of random battles
