POPULAR

[0.9.10] SeaFalcon's mods (Complete & Damage log) based on GambitER's damage log

Latest release: 2015-09-12 | v9.10.2
.

MOD WEBSITE & DOWNLOAD LINKS can be found HERE

Translated parts of GambitER his new Damage log that was released for the 9.8 patch.

The log is rather bland as it doesn't show much besides the hits received and the types of shell.

I might add some more in the future, however I mainly am just leaving this here for those who want a working damage panel for now.

Mod Features

Check the information page for more details on what each mod adds to the game.

>  Hit received popup.

>  Total amount of Hits taken.

>  Total amount of damage blocked by armour.

>  Total amount of hit blocked by armour.

>  Total amount of damage done by the platoon members

>  Total amount of damage done by the platoon

>  Different colours for damage taken by an Enemy, Ally or Yourself shown in the following symbol ● behind the type of shell.

>  Different colours for shells used against you by your enemies. (eg Premium shells are yellow)

>  Non-damage symbols:

Ricochet: ө

Bounced:

Absorbed: ×

Critical hit: *

Download

Download the zip file, unzip the folder and paste it over the res_mods folder and you're good to go.
If you are using a personal XVM setting, go to config/xvm/default folder and copy/paste the hitlog.xc file into the correct config you are using.

a bit different as the last one...but i like this one better ^^

the "only" thing i dn't like or maybe could improved:

the standart format for the hitlog (battle has started, no hits fired or get)

i see the green: Hits:-  Total:-

but the red one is only seen, if u get a hit...

could it be changed to show something like this:

Hits:-  Total:-                             Hits:-  Total:-

i think it looks better then an empty space at the beginning

Yes it does, but I used the timed counter to show the hits: and total:  shots received. (only shows a specific given time after you're hit)
Have tried to toy with it to show before anything happened in the battle but haven't yet found a way.
And that's just me being an amateur editor of xml files, if someone else can find a way, he's free to try and post.

Awesome addon, happily using it along with WoW-style XVM (only needed to replace the already present hitlog.xc in that config folder).

+1 well deserved.

edit: me being derpy today for some reason and messing stuff up

Changed the hitlog.xc file in the download of the damagepanel + hitlog.
removed the text Hits:-  Total:- at the start of the battle.
They will now only appear once you have done damage.

Hmmh.. I have aslains xvm, and melty's crosshair. i can see only damage what i take from enemies listed, but not damage what i deal to enemies. Do i have to config this mod, or how i can set that damage dealed to visible?

Solved, i replaced aslain's hitlog.xc file with that u're mod's .xc file, and i get it work. Gr8 work mate, i love that hit+damage panel.

Minor update:
- Changed some of the colouring concerning friendly fire in the damage panel.

- Changed a couple of more fonts.

The revised Damage panel + hitlog can be downloaded via the same link.

Also added a gameplay video in the first post to show how the mod affects the looks of your ingame panels.

Love your mod, but does the current modding support allow for bounces to have different colour? 'cause until you get used to it, red isn't the best colour for the brain to process when you got used to yellow from meltys mod for bounces :D.

Think I played around with it, or at least tried to. But I didn't have any luck, I'll give it another look tomorrow.

Open the following file with notepad:

...\World of Tanks\res_mods\0.8.10\gui\scaleform\damagepanel.xml

Search the file for Damage popup configuration

Change configlastshot visible = "true" to "False"

I've translated the file from Russian to English as best I could to make editing it further to your own taste easier,
At least that's for people who prefer English over Russian.

hey, I have a question: what did you use to compile the DamagePanel.swf ? because i'm trying to replace a image with Trillix (btw its "Image 340") .. and after i replace it and save it i start getting random crashes when loading into battle. pretty annoying..

Sorry for the slowness;
but it's possible to change colours for the bounces, ricochets and so on.

Open the following file with notepad:

...\World of Tanks\res_mods\0.8.10\gui\scaleform\damagepanel.xml

Search the file for configReasonNoDamage almost at the top.

Each of the formats here are mentioned.

I will take one for an example so that you can edit them in any way you like.

If you are not familiar with html codes, it's very easy to google them.

Such as how to change colors and sizes and so on.

I use this website to decide on what color code I want: http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html

Example is a printscreen since they took away the ability to add code examples in posts.

I am not the actual designer of this damage panel, I only changed the looks of the damage received.

http://maxmods.net/paneli-povrezhdeniy/0.8.10.damage-panel-gambiter-dlya-wot.html

So I have really no clue on what he used since I am really now a .swf editor xd

Little update to those who experience issues with the Calibri font.

I've uploaded a secondary download that has a simple WoT font, it looks a little different but at least you don't get the grey boxes because of you missing the correct font.

You can find the download here: https://sites.google.com/site/sfcompletemodpack/downloads/damage-panel-hitlog

First of all, great job with your new design and features.

But i can't use it because it's not working with my current XVM and stuff.

I put plugins etc. in 0.8.10 folder and copied text from xvm\configs\@kodos\hitlog.xc to xvm.qc but it doesn't work at all. All i see is hitlog, but damage panel is missing.

That's how it looks in xvm.xc
