SU 122-54

As the topic name.
Will we see this TD?
http://pblinov.narod...SU122/img/1.jpg
It was the last "real" Soviet tank destroyer. It used a 122mm gun, based on the T-54A and sometimes known as IT-122. Between 1955 and 1957, 77 vehicles were built. It's also called Object 600.
Or is it too "modern" for the game?
A Tier 9 fast/weaker TD?

As the game progresses, I think they'll add more tanks to it, and this one is definitly a must. I would say it will be a tier 10...Once they come out.

looks very interesting. I would love to see that as alternative t9 tank hunter

it's design is very similar to JPanther's
t-54 chasis should provide excellent mobility just like in case of su-85 based on t-34
unfortunatelly i won't expect it in game, i am afraid that final list of vehicles we will se in game won't change.

Too modern in my opinion - then again anything that didn't see combat action in WW2 is. So my vote would be no. They might very well add more modern tanks later, but that really needs to be an entirely separate thing from the WW2 tanks in the sense that they don't mix in battles.

You didn't get the message on day 1 did you? WoT isn't just a WW2 game.
Yes, I'm quite aware of that but in my books anything more modern is boring and thus pointless
Besides likes I said, once you start going to more modern stuff, I'd prefer it be its own separate tier system entirely, separate from the current mostly-WW2 tech trees. Otherwise the next thing we know is a swarm of Abrams tanks platooning with Leichttractors...

I think it is to modern, I think the end date is 1950, so that's 5 years too late. Shame, looks like it'd have been fun.

It is now listed as a T9, connected to the "Object 416" T8 Medium and the "URALMASH-1" T8 TD. Parallel to the "Object 704"

Yes, that's where I got it from
The day after!
I would like to see it as a TD/Scout mix. I don't see any problems with younger tanks, they just need to put them in the high tiers.
It's inn!

Hopefully it'll have very nice accuracy and pen, with not so good damage. That would make the ideal brother to the Object I think.

A bit like Stug3 and SU 85 - The stug3 have a good rate of fire, and the SU got the bigger damage at a cost of ROF. (Just that the SU got both damage AND the best penetration)

Now with this having been made official, I guess we can start expecting the Abrams any day now
