That you were playing this game in the same room as your team so you could smash their heads into the keyboard until they realised that you need to use it if you want to play...........sorry about rant just had 5 games in a row where all the heavies were hiding so far back they couldn't even help by snipping even if they had a gun that was accurate enough.

I'd much rather sit in a room with them so I could communicate and try to get something done :)

Lol :veryhappy:

But, do you honsetly think all these people would behave the way the do when they are anonymous online, in a room with me? Out of anonymousness tends to have drastic effect on peoples behaviour.

Regardless of how they would behave, they wouldn't suddenly all know English or start speaking it. In fact, I bet they'd speak it even less, because of being shy.:hiding:

Lets be honest here most will speak English as most european learn it and well, unlike the poor level of foreign language tuition we have in this country, and the main reason for not using English in game is ignorance. If Spanish was the most common used language in game I would be happy to use it, but I ignore any requests in Spanish or Portuguese simple because I know they can use a language that everyone understands.

What Norrin_Radd said, and don't you think that the greetings in forreign languages is more a search for countrymen than an attempt to annoy the english speaking part of the community?

There is a name for the contition in which you constantly feel that someone is out for you or deliberately is trying to annoy you, I think it's called paranoia...and it seems to affect quite a few

If I threw out a greeting in norwegian in the chat you'd be quite high on yourself if you thought I did it to upset anyone.

I do not think WoT is able to draw 50% morons into it's playerbase, it is quite unlikely.

Greeting in foreign languages are fine as long as it is still directed at all, but apart from that anything said it anything but English is just pointless as only a few will understand.

So, what did you do, charge forward to you usual awesome spot and then realise you had no backup, or did you find somewhere they had a chance to cover you and shoot what you spotted?

No I gave up playing with any sense and tried to get as much damage in before I died, could do more to help the team but why bother wasting 10 mins on what is likely a lose when I can restart and hopefully get a team with 1 or 2 players in it.

I see, so you didn't play to even attempt to maximise your chances of winning then whined when you lost.

If you just want to play your own game with no regard for how the rest of your team are playing then that's fine by me, but in my eyes it makes you just as bad as those heavies camping at the back.

Not whining cos I lost, I honestly don't know or care what the result is. I enjoy playing this game when it is played and taking a heavy and hiding is not playing so why waste my time with teams like that?

Let me get this straight, I am the weak human with hardly any weapons who bravely attacks an enemy for honour and glory , while you are the stronger better armed Klingon too scared to come out from under his cover cos he's scared of his own shadow.

using that picture is a bit ironic, julian bashir (the human dude) was a genetically enhanced human, basically hes extremely intelligent and quite strong in a fight.
