I just cant handle it anymore, im internally vomiting just looking at the 1990s resolution textures and extreme low quality graphics, lack of details at distance on everything including textures, lack of proper AA. Screw the effects, explosions, fire.

It feels like the 0.8.10 patch decreased the details at distance in trade for fancy effects that less than 1% of the players will ever see. And they added all that thick fog at 400+ meters to hide that they lowered the graphics quality overall. Using the Max Farplane mod to get rid of all the fog reveals all this... shady "optimization".

The very core of the graphics is utter crap, octagons instead of circles, jagged edges due to lack of AA, textures that are no better than the original upscales from Order of War.

I cant handle it anymore, i dont mind playing with 29 tomatoes. But i do mind playing a game that makes me want to gouge out my eyeballs.

Goodbye for now man in the window.

For me this is not a game where graphics are the utter most important. Well bye, go play crysis on max settings.

You should then stop playing WoT on an abacus and upgrade at least to calculator...

Well, at least it's a different kind of complaint.

You dont get it at all, the textures contain many "details". Only that they are super low resolution, which leads to a very jittery feeling whilst driving around. There is no clarity. And with the lack of real AA and the low poly models. It all adds up to that its...

Yes graphics can be bad and game enjoyable. But WG has put chrome details on a pile of turd. The result is eyevomit.

i7 2600K @4.2GHz and GTX680 etc doesnt make the textures any better. The textures are very low resolution and no hardware will change that.

Well, you might have noticed that a complete graphics overhaul is on its way - I see no reason to whine complain about it when WG is already working on exactly what you want.

Well Im playing on medium settings and got no problems with the graphics, still Im really looking forward to the graphics update.

What concerns me more is the sound, it just doesnt feel like Im on a battlefield. If I think about BF: Bad Company or something thats way more like it ...

Stop shooting doors, tanks are way prettier..er targets. :great:

And if your only complaint are the graphics, the game must really be completely blanced and all problems must be fixed by now. Yay! Ready too pour in some moneyz!

Don't get me wrong... I really can't play games like Final Fantasy 7, even if it's a great one and one of the few ones I didn't play yet (FF13 and above not counting... *cough*)... but WoT looks still ok in general.

Play an Elders Scrolls game. Watch the texture of a stone. Puke. Walk back 20 meters, watch the whole secnery. Puke. Because of the beautifulness.

In other words: You are not supposed to stalk those people in their houses!

Just to make sure: Are you... serious with... ehm... "this"?

Quit please. You can play various games with fancy graphics. It's not about graphics, it's about gameplay then we talk about wot. I have played lots of games with poor graphics and they are much better than CoD, biochits and other games for 12 year old boys that got only one thing to offer - graphics.

I play on a fairly basic laptop on low settings and still enjoy the game.

Online games are not really good at graphics since FPS is really important to win, and in addition game is enjoyable that's enough for me. I played Metal Gear Solid 1 and enjoyed every "bit" of it eventhough I played it after 13 years of it's release. I am trying to say that when a game or it's concept is good, you can endure bad graphics!

Slyspy the Max Farplane mod increases the quality of textures at distance by disabling the function that decreases textures quality over ranges, also it removes all magic fog. And it makes maps more bright and colorful.

The main issue are the extremely low resolution ground textures. I started wot earlier today and i just couldnt play. The low resolution textures just ruin it. I guess they originally were higher quality and then compressed to hell and back to make the people with 128MB graphics card able to run WoT. Resulting in all the details becoming a garbled blur like image i posted. When you play at 2560x1600 with a 30" monitor. The horizon of jagged garbled jittery textures is just... Like someone literally pours bleach in your eyes. WG focus nearly exclusively on adding effects not improving the very core of the issue. The low res textures.

Pretty much every modern online game wants to disagree.

I agree with him tho. But wot is like a badly compressed jpeg image with artifacts. Which makes it even harder to focus/aim. Whilst the "graphics doesnt matter games" has simple graphics instead which looks clean and smooth.
