So that is the sentence you can see very often into tier X matches:

A leo is hiding in bushes and despect having one fo the best gun in the game and being many times decisional for a team victory, lots of players are whining with the "n00b leo camper, go scout!" comment.

Personally I find it very stupid, saw an unicum in leo 1, people was harassing him all time even if he won the match with 6700 dmg and 5 kills.

Similar stuff happens with obj 268 or WT pz 4, people think for some reason they are first line tanks.

And I'm not talking about tomatoes only, also good or above average players are spamming such stuff in chat.

Did you see something like this? :coin:

Not in high tiers since I haven't moved up into them but I've been told to scout in a lot of my tanks that aren't exactly outfitted for scouting.

I got shot by a T110E3 once because I refused to scout the 2 line on Prokhorovka in my Centurion 7/1. Since that took half my health and my ammo rack, I couldn't really be bothered to do anything useful for the team (least of all scouting) so I stepped out for a smoke whilst the T110E3 presumably was raging at... nobody since I was AFK.

Oh, you have no idea how many times I get that with my Leopards. Some people are just idiots there is nothing you can do about it. I can't wait for the 0.8.11 with the disable chat option. That will let my eyes and keyboard finally rest.

Plenty of ppl just don't bother looking up the stats of tanks which they don't have.

Noticed this after i got called a noob repeatedly for hiding my Rhm Waffeltrager T8 in a bush instead of using it in frontline to shield lower tier heavies.

After I asked them how i'm supposed to do that with 20mm of armor they suddenly shut up

Ppl just categorize tanks by what they think they can do

leo is small, fast, agile, therefor it's a scout

rhm waffel has a turret and is a TD, and as most TD's have nice frontal armor, it must be a frontline tank

Just ignore ppl when their ranting is purely based on nonsense.

Just had something similar in my E50. A "green" Tortoise said something like "noob E50 go scout".

I explained to him that my stock tanks isnt exactly fitting the task well. With the stock engine Im slower than many heavy tanks ...

So I was sniping at the beginning and approached cautiously in the later stages when only like 6 tanks were left on both sides. I ended with ~3k spotting damage and we  eventually won.

Maybe he would have been right if I had the real engine , I dont know. We still had a T21 and two T54s, which imo could do the scouting better.

Its just that its quite hard for me to play this thing stock.

FV304 is quite amusing for this as well. I lost count of how many times I've been told I'm a noob and should go back to my corner of the map by teammates who fail to realise I can shoot at maybe 25% of the map if I stick to their idea of "good arty spots".

Although not a scout there can be times in games where it would be better for the leo to scout than whatever is left, but these players still refuse. So there is fault on both sides here.

Elc on siegfried line, alone on the field

Allied t32: elc go scout

There are 3 tanks here, spotted them and you are out of range (he was "sniping")

Game ends and i have more damage than him, spotting damage and 4 kills.

Malinovka taking the bush in the middle of the field unspotted.

1390 go scout

11500 upon spotting

Prokhorovka encounter tier 8 battle

hellcat move

6300 upon spotting, 2300 dealt

can't wait for the chat disable thing as Judqment8  said.

I was told in my Chi-Ri to "go scout!" in a tier 9 battle... i mean this tank is bigger than a Tiger 2, slower than most tier 8 heavies and has less armor than a Pz 4...  i think most whiners just see the light/medium icon and automatically assume that you are a scout..

But what else is to expect from the common random player... the brain has been left in the garage after pressing the "into battle" button... not enough credits for autorepair :>

Playing my Leo 1 a lot at the moment and yes it is funny how some people think it is a traditional medium. I just ignore them.

oh and hi Sabaoth - we were in a game a few days ago a d had exactly the experience he mentions - me in Leo and him in Obj. Nice guy he is - even messaged me after game for a chat about such behaviour.

Personally I think the Leo is the best td in game at the moment, with a great potential for fire fighting if required.

To be fair there are situations in which a Leo or a BatChat should scout.Still those are quite rare

When I play my chat I am doing passive scouting (depend on map and situation) whole round, while dealing damage, not suiciding, which ppl expect me to do. :sceptic: "Noob batchat go scout stop camping in bush!".

My response to such stupid remarks - How about I shoot you instead.

Most have a brain in the size of a peanut. Once a lowe player asked, which is better e50m or Leo1. When replied that both are good but have different play styles - you could feel the little gears of confusion turning in his head - But how can that be, they both are medium tanks... I gave up.
