Use notebookcheck.net to see if graphic card is decent in the future, very useful site.

" PhysX is theoretically possible, but the 710M is too slow to handle both PhysX and 3D rendering in modern games."

It lacks GPU computing power it seems.

I`m running on a GeForce 660M and it`s smooth but be prepared to drop some cash for a decent stand alone graphic card on a laptop.

I`d say that for 1k usd you can get one to run wot decently.

I did some search and i couldn't find the reason why this laptop only runs on minimum and sometimes Low...

Everything is maxed.. drivers etc... This Hp laptop: Windows 7 RAM 8GB  Intel® Core i7-3610QM CPU @ 2.30 GHz,  Nvidia GEFORCE GT 630M HP dv6.

About GPU :

Cores 96

Base Clock 660 Mhz

Boost Clock 800 Mhz

Memory 1024M

As i said, use notebookcheck.net

Has all the good stuff about gpu`s

"However, the GPU is not powerful enough to support both PhysX and high detail game settings at reasonable frame rates."-in regards to Nvidia GEFORCE GT 630M

A review of your graphics card from January 2013, i.e. 1 year ago states:

"This places the card in the entry level segment. Current games (as of 2013) will run fluently only in low settings."

Your CPU and RAM would be fine but your graphics card is gonna let you down.

I'd say try minimum settings and be glad if you get that with a decent FPS.

If you want to spend 1000 moneys, you may want to buy a desktop PC instead... way more effective while being much cheaper.

Good enough to run WoT at low settings, no chance for high settings. If you want a powerful laptop for nice price, take a look at some Asus or MSI ones.

That is a good one. All the G series will run WoT fluently as my G55V can testify

Whilst good for 99% of tasks I think the CPU would struggle, WoT runs (mostly) on a single core so 2.5ghz may struggle combined with a fairly basic GFX card I'd say performance wouldn't be great.

I've got a Toshiba Satellite L850-1FF which I bought bor 700 Euros and it can't run the game maxed at resonable FPS.

Intel i7 3610QM, 4 cores @ 2.3-3.2 GHz

8 GB ram @ 1600 MHz

AMD Radeon HD 7670m 2GB vRam

no-name HDD 500 GB @ 5400 RpM

15.4 inch screen, 1366x766

I run the game on custom settings with tank models, textures and draw distance on max and everything else on medium at 40-60 FpS depending on the map (it exceeds 100 FpS when staring at the sky but that's hardly relevant)

My CPU is slightly better than yours and the GPU have pretty much identical preformance (according to this site http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-710M.84746.0.html) so you should get similar preformance.

HOWEVER: Toshiba won't let you upate the drivers for the CPU or GPU, forcing you to run several years old drivers or unstable beta drivers. (found out that I was stuck with a graphics driver from 2009)
