So I've been waiting to acquire a B2 as I quite enjoyed the B1, and the idea of getting a premium that is similar but will never see tier 5s is extremely appealing. However my search has been without reward, and I noticed the Valentine II has the same super-limited MM. As it was on sale this weekend I decided to pick one up.

This thing is pretty sweet. Ace Tanker came on the seventh game (http://wotreplays.co...folau-valentine) and of the games I played I was able to compete well in most of them.

Now I haven't played it much, and this could just be a honeymoon period, but with this MM is it not a pretty awesome deal? I mean yes the gun is pathetic and needs gold to compete but you have reasonable speed, weirdly good agility, and armour that will troll alot of people (though not all). The guarantee of being top tier means I think it could become my go-to tank when I'm having a bad day.

Does anyone agree? Or is this budding relationship going to go downhill rapidly?

I got it free with a gift code, and it's limited MM means you can make a difference in every single battle. I run it with gold only, since you can't reliably penetrate any tier 4 tank with normal AP. Has the same crew (and gun) as the LTP, so now I have 2 premium tanks to train up a single soviet light crew.

All in all a great little tank, but I would not recommend it to beginners, since you have to know your maps and especially your opponents weak spots to fully unlock its potential.

Its an Ok tank, I believe we tend to overlook it because of the shere quality of the other russian premium/gift tanks available

M3 light not so much.. but the Tetrach, T127, LTP, BT-SV... its a hell of alot to live up to, the V2's "quirkyness" revolves around its favourable MM.. it also offers an oppertunity for folks that either missed out on the free B2 codes back in 2012 gamescon (or missed the oppertunity to get them on the store) to platoon together for fun

It's what the tank is to me, I just play it for fun for a laugh.

I've pretty much decided to grab any premiums tier 5 or below whenever I see them on sale, just because most of them have something interesting about them - T-127 is definitely on the shopping list.

The B2 is the one I'm watching the store like a hawk for. I generally don't like the huge bundles, but as long as it isn't too stupid I would definitely look to acquire one.

The T-127 is excellent, it's basically a better version of the LTP with preferential MM.

I have now played 5 games with it after watching jingles with it yesterday and I have to say it can be enjoyable.

If your mid-top way up on the board and there's few matildas you can have fun if you're not it can be a struggle and if you get mostly t3s you're golden.

But you have to load a fair few gold rounds to be effective so if you have a problem with gold then you'll hate it.

i have had it for quite a while its a very enjoyable machine.

i only have 6 gold rounds in it 1 he and the rest ap, the only issue i hav with it is that it runs out of ammo very quickly

I run it full gold and it works wonders (I even earn money in losses). For some reason it has less weak spots than B2, and with correct angling is a troll master. It is perfectly capable of carrying any battle it is put in.

Its about time it was upgraded at least a gun capable of doing summat except  bouncing all the time or downgrade it to tier 3 as tier 4 its only good for target practice or upgrade it to a mark 5 with better gun and turret which the Russians also used and have the Mk III as normal tank at tier  3

I had it but after 170 (with aproximation) I sold it...and that was one of my first mistakes in WoT. It has great armor, but a gun buff will be welcomed.

Debatable. It has more engine power and armour, but the LTP has the higher top speed, track traverse and the best camo of all USSR light tanks. T-127 is definitely easier to troll noobs with though.

This is absolute full german-russ-powah tank. Very fast, with exceptional armour - just the greatest panzer of all time. Everyone must have thiz tank.

Playing with the Valentine II is pretty fun, limited MM means every game is tier 4 and the armor is solid, gun has pretty bad pen so premium ammo is needed.

Fast aim time and rate of fire and turn speed.

Not very fast and going uphill is agony though :P

I agree with most of the above, I run mine on gold, I get a few names called but hey its a tier 2 gun, and with gold its competitive, still hate those Matildas lol.

Just got it on Valentine's day special. It's great! The regular British Valentine often has to cry in a corner even in tier V matches, but not this version. Always being top tier is really cool, I wish there were more tanks like this; makes it actually work consistently as a well-armoured tank, and the low tier placement makes it pretty relaxing and amusing to play.

Pz. B2, but it only comes occasionally and in expensive bundles. Alternatively the B1 and D.W. 2 are standard tanks that have 'normal' limited MM (they're tier 4s that see tier 5 max)... but the feeling just isn't the same.

Yeah, the Pz. B2 isn't massively appealing for that reason, and it's in the same tier anyway. I actually just got rid of my B1 (again) to free a slot since the Valentine II offers pretty much the same gameplay while being far less frustrating. I'd like something, say at tier V or VI, like a German-captured T-34 with a very-much stock configuration, but also +0 MM.

Not going to happen unfortunately, since the devs have taken a stance against limited MM tanks...

I got this tank on valentines day, it was less than £2, so why the heck not. Impressions:

- Good armour.

-Sh*t gun.

Basically run on prem ammo as its cheap as chips, and wouldn't be able to pen the skin on a rice pudding without it.

Can't say I've been top tier yet, mostly bottom, or bottom 3rd.

Needs a better gun!!!!!!
