Greetings Commanders,

We are currently investigating an issue affecting the EU 1 server which is causing players to drop from battle or experience high ping/lag.  This is also having an affect on EU 2.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused and we're working to get this fixed asap.  Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. When we have any further information we'll update this thread and post as soon as we have it.

Regards,

EU Community Team.

are you really sure it's not my mods ? i could remove them to check ...

[Edit: 01-26-2014]  01-16-2014 i reported in a ticket:

'two of my clan and me suffered really bad lagspikes at same time. my tank turned circles and i couldnt controll it at all while i had 20ms ping EU1'

-we are all in different locations ; well connected beta tester players
and you been as kind to tell me

'open your antivirus and firewall programs. Locate the 'Trusted Programs' list and add World of Tanks to them. Make sure they are fully trusted with no restrictions.

If the issue still persists, please try to open the following ports on your router: ...'

just to finally admit : ' I'm sorry you experienced connection issues during a certain time. If it happened only during that time and to more players it was most likely from our side.'

even when the majority of the games played since then been fine ; these bizarre lags still randomley happened to my clanmates and me ;

in some periodes of time General chat even got flooded with complaints

today, Ten days after there is still complaints about this ; and we even got a new phenomenom

eror chat initialzation failed - some of my clan needed upto 3 hours to connect ; and when we finally did it ; we get disconnected between games

(which actually gave me the time to update this)

trying to connect, synchronizing for several minutes - chat initialzation failed (repeat)

...and after many attempts i could finally log to EU2 ; no way to get back to EU1...just to read more moaning in chats there.

[Edit 02-10-2014] ...bit after midnight: oops, it happened again. EU1 went down from 41k to 3k users due massive lagspikes, even when i still had 18 to 27ms ping -impossible to play, nore could i login to forum

chat on both servers been literally flooded with complaints

regards:

Team battle mode suffers alot of this, players can't move their tanks etc.

Why don't you broadcast a message in game? If I am in the game I can't read the forums.

We always get messages in game about this promotion or that event but never about issues.

Time to think about it seriously.

...when CW got moved to EU2 the lags went up there  this was the first indicator it isnt the capacity probleme allone.

now there is massive lags while server is way below peak user. (EU1 40k/80k overall)

- proud to see WG continous traditionaly recruiting the brightest of the best

singing duck and cover, with best regards:

This is so frustrating... I hope your server guys are aware of the importance of this situation. Don't end up telling us again that it's a problem of our PCs and nothing will change.

Right now, it's one of the worst in-game experiences I ever had!

Still no better fro me than this morning.

Just struggled to play 2 games and when you miss with 2 stationary tanks from 10m you know something is wrong.

Come on WG get the staff whips into turbo - we are losing our chance to get the 500k mission complete

hows about adding more redundancy like a new server base maybe and locate it more westerly like england ??

this solution might cure the constant lag issues in eu1
