reddit is a fansite and AMA's for various games are pretty common there. We will be interacting more with our fansites and contributors over 2014. We will also be reviewing how our current Q&A process works and if this is something that is still seriously viable when supporting the questions from 7 different supported (and over 5 unsupported) languages and having the replies answered and translated within a viable period. There is some things happening behind the scenes that may better support this and provide the proper time and focus required, but that's a different conversation for another time.

Screw multi-language support.

Make it for one language and make it right. And include developers.

You're making Q&A on reddit, while the very same idea on OUR forum is not working as it really should, or how it works on some other forums.

To participate in all your events, one should have 500 accounts on different services. Pick one and stick with it!

Now show how much you believe in your Q&A on this forum and neg rep me more.

You're saying we are to ignore our other supported languages and only to include 1. That's what we have atm and it's what many players feel is unfair.

Remember the most common spoken language within our player base is Russian, not English. There is an active dev Q&A for our largest community already. There is almost 4 times as many Ru players as there is EU players and about 50% of those EU players don't speak English.

It's a double edged sword and no answer is right until we have senior developer staff with available time who are fluent in both English and Russian along with some system to allow all of our EU players to be able to field questions. We're not going to ignore communities just because they don't speak English because that system is the exact system you're complaining about because atm the only direct Q&A is for Russian speaking players! :blinky:

I could also feel as being mistreated and you being unfair for not having Q&A in my own language as well, yet you don't see me complaining about it. How terrible...

It wouldn't be such a problem if those very same language supports always cause huge delays in everything (news and special announcements, important info...).

The russian language is a bad example as the russians have their own server clusters.

Then flip that 180 and look at other games with different clusters where the Devs only speak English and the main spoken language of the game is English. *edit* What i'm trying to say with this and what a lot of people forget is that development and player-base wise, World of Tanks is the complete reverse of what you normally get with any other massive online game.

AMA @Reddit is popular mode for connecting followers and fans to daily heroes or people from popular field. Like NASA, Pornhub, Brazzers, Barack Obama, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chris Hadfield, PSY, Guy with 2 penises. WoT and WoWP have dedicated sub-reddit and AMA is like interview with WG staff without censors, editors and journalists. You get more intimate. WG staff is daily on community forums and they visit r/worldoftanks regulary as any other forum. This is just an event like visiting your local IT/Gaming expo.

Go check out the big IAMA section. See that it is amazing model of communication.

I think it's a very good idea to reach out to more players, however the only solid way to do that is to use all the e-mail addresses you got and send them a survey, or incorporate a survey into the game or launcher. Because just like this forum only catches a very small amount of people with similar views, Reddit is not much different... As Reddit is only popular within a relatively small group of similar-minded people.

From my experience...you might have spoken the truth ....or generally spoke ill of WG or someone from WG ...or a cousin of someone who works at WG...or someone who lives in Russia....
