Those premium TDs and SPG are so huge! I don't want to see their camo value :o

Looks like stock configuration for the others, doesn't it?

Wait a second. Do you want to tell me that the French will use German refits of their tanks as TD and SPG? Shouldn't they add them to the German tree instead?

Yep, I'm just a bit curious to know if the model of the 37mm SA18 on the H35 will be changed to the "modernized" version (if we can call it like that).

Apparently no, seeing the last news in the Q&A topic, it's not even sure that the multi-turret system will be implemented with the French tree.

They are premium tanks, maybe to simulate recaptured vehicles used against the Atlantic pockets (as La Rochelle or St-Nazaire).
Of the French TDs we only saw the AMX-50 Foch.

Oh god, how can the French make quite good looking cars, but horribly ugly tanks? They don't even look practical. :P Anyway, looking forward to seeing them in game, tho I won't be driving them.

Remember one of the main tank companies was Renault. Later on, they were responsible of these (among others) :

It's not as bad as that (though the Avantime is quite bad from this angle) :

They ain't German so the camo value might be good. IS-7 is much bigger than Jagdpanther but I don't see it having worse camo.

Edit: So typical someone of course gave me "-" only for disagreeing typical teenagers.

Yeah, but so has every automobile manufacturer. Sporty versions of Megane and Clio are just fantastic. Just take a look at all "hot hatchbacks" the French make, every one looks absolutely awesome.

All their tanks look like WW1 "tanks", no wonder Germany owned them. And probably laughed a lot on the way to Paris.

True about the design of the french tanks in the 40's. Their look could seem to be a little outdated.
But you should look at the G1R prototype. It was really ahead of its time, even if it would not have been produced before 1941.
It's made of slopes whereas the germans did not stop buidling tanks with vertical lines until the panther.

Morever, what were the german tanks in 1940 ? A lot of pzII with pzIII and a few pzIV + Stugs.
Even if the french tanks had many flaws,; in a 1vs1, the somua 35 et the B1bis would owned their german openents most of the time.
No, the germans did not laugh a lot cause only their 88mm gun or stuka could stop the french tanks.
German had a better organization and strategy, it made all the difference.
