With the KV-4 I disagree with the vid, I've won matches using the KV-4 in Team Batles

Also the entire vid was opinion based, not hard fact.

While there are always going to be exceptions to the rule, I think the video made the right calls. The tanks they recommended are probably the best for team battles because most games devolve into peek a boom combined with rapidly moving fights and most tier eight tanks are terrible at it.

Obviously its' also aimed at newer players who perhaps don't know how to handle their tanks well- as he said a good team can win in whatever vehicles they want.

It all depends on how you deploy your tanks.

Nice video. I do love my heavies.  Everything is opinion based, but it did have the tanks vitals listed...

I don't understand the interest of this video, really.

We know the spam of KV-1S in TC

We know the spam of IS-3 in TB

This video just help me conclude that this game is not balanced at all. I don't know how developpers can promote such tanks that are already massively used.

Yes i don't have these tanks. But hey if i'm wrong why so much spam with these tanks.

I think you've won many battles because you encountered weak teams. First of all you must shoot only at weakspots on KV4, but if you fought people that don't do that, you will get huge potencial damage and they will get dings. KV4 is for TeamBattles like Maus for CW, and usualy it is left by the enemy team last, as they will focus on other tanks with lower hp pool and that are easyer to penetrate, and kill it last, after also flanking it.

P.S. If team goes on ofensive to other base you will get there pretty late :)

Why would you think all tanks could be equally balanced for 7v7 and 15v15 battles? With just 7 people on the team, mobility is much more important. And picking a lineup of recommended heavies is not a win button either, a team with a mix of good tanks wins over pure IS-3 spam. That's what the whole series has been about, assembling the best lineups for the mode.

Even the best tanks can't guarantee a victory. It all depend on the player who is playing the tank. It useless to put a inexperience player in a heavy tank and let him/her fight and still lost the battle. It depend on teamwork and tactic by must battle.

But remember that these are advices for begginers.

At beggining it is easier to manage team consisting of HT.

More you play in TB more you use light tanks and medium tanks. Look how pro teams plays. And of course for every map different setup is the best one :)

In the movie there is lack of one deeper comparision between 110, IS3 and IS-6
3 similar tanks but have different pro/cons.

110 best dinger from front. good dpm and penetration but small alpha.

is3 very easy to be penetrated from front but shells to the side often dissapear in spaced armour. good alpha

Is6 nice armor from front and from side. If you dont know were to aim you can have big problems against that tank.

Hard to do when you got 3 KV-4s, a JagdPanther II and T69 along side 2 Cunninghams.

Honestly terrible setup.

Slow. Easy to kill.

Just to have some fast spotter and shoot KV4 big weakspots from distance. And easy to burn. To hit ammo rack from side of the turret.

JagdPantherII have totally no armour.

Actually it's a good set up, it depends on the map but it's good setup.

I do love the KV-4 in randoms but in TB it just won't work mate...

Three of them means you are limited to very defensive play with no real chance of quick assault. And the JP II as well is a very defensive tank so basically you're left with one tank capable of commanding the battlefield and that means certain defeat against any capable 7/42 team.

Besides the main advantage of a KV-4, thick armour, is completely negated by premium shells and all you have left is a huge pile of metal with poor DPM and no manoeuvrability.

I may not be an experienced 7/42 player but I have learned a lot from watching tournaments and my clanmates who are actively participating in ESL and Go4WoT, their commander being the narrator in this video.
