OK so the tittle might be slightly misleading,I don't know, anyways my question.

So I was just watching a guy play the Maus on a live stream and on one of his games he got no damage to the tank's HP pool but he got both tracks damaged.

In the garage you could see that his repair bill was 9k(repairing the tracks) and I just thought "Normal repair kits only cost 3k(1,5 if you buy them on sales like I do)"

And I wondered if using a repair kit would fix the tracks so that you would not have to pay the repair bill on the tracks (would also work for other tanks with tracks with massive health pools) ?

If yes, then what other tanks then the Maus would this save you minimum amounts of money on?

In certain situations, yes. Stuff like the gun is expensive to repair post-game. There's some website or possibly tool that shows the cost of repairing modules post-game, but I can't remember what it was.
