1. Press Battle button
2. Kill/ damage everything you see (excluding teammates)
3. try to win
4. restart from 1.

Obviously, get Premium.

If Gold isnt an issue, then you might want to focus on playing your highest tier tank, get it elite, and play that one most. Higher tier gets more xp, and as soon as it's Elite, you can convert that to 'blitz' the tech tree a bit.

I spend most of my gold on tankslots, and aim to get all my tanks to at least win once per 'tanksession' for the double xp thingy, which also helps getting passed the less attractive tanks (I'm looking at you A20!).

What I found to be very effective in the beta was to get around 5-6 tank slots and fill 3-4 of them with the tier V tanks you enjoy the most. Get those tanks to Elite. (Tier V because that seems to be the best tier in regards to getting good xp and credits while still being very cheap to repair and resupply the tank).

Then every day, play them until you've won a game (and gotten double xp) for each tank. Convert this to Free xp for your "main" tech tree advance.

But of course, gold was free in the beta, so it's going to cost a bit, probably around 100-150 gold or so each day for the converted xp, so you'd be looking at around 5000-6000 gold per month (Premium included in that).

If You want to do it as quickly as possible You can try this:
  • Choose 3 or 4 techtree branches that You like.
  • Since most xp is given for damage go for quick damage dealing. It's better to go in first attack wave, deal 4-5 penetrating hits in two minutes and die than camp and deal 4-5 penetrating hits after ten minute camping. Real damage per minute of playtime is most important.
  • When dead, take tank from another branch. 3-4 tanks should be enough to play all the time.
  • Don't research modules than You will never use. Example: if You don't want to play a scout and go for T-34, skip 5600xp radio on A-20. But beware - this is tricky without beta experience, as You can skip something useful (use forum to ask).

Have a Premium account. You get 50% more xp in every match so you need fewer games to unlock each upgrade on a tank. You also get 50% more credits so you do not have to play as many games just to get the credits for a new tank.

If you want to get high up the tech tree quickly I would suggest you don't try and advance along the medium, heavy, TD and arty lines at the same time. Pick 1 or 2 of these and concentrate on them with the other lines being played only when you want a break from playing the same tank or the ones you are concentrating on are still in battle.

Scout runs are very efficient.

Leopard or similar, PzKw 5/4 is perfect for this.

Rush in, scout and get the xp/creds from arty hitting them, shoot around a bit and maybe kill an arty.

In 1-2 mins you get an average of about 500xp and 20k-30k credits after repairs with a P5/4 - bit less with something like a leopard.

I have to agree with this strategy and the only thing i can add to it is to go and add a T-46
