Hello all,

I got bored and I thought I'd open up this rather, pointless, but useful thread about Star Trek, so here is the question I want to ask you, if you could be any race in Star Trek which would you be? Now for us Trekkies that's a very hard question, as there are tons of races to choose from and not all come from the Alpha Quadrant.

For me though, I'd have to settle between 2 races, Remans and Nausicaans, but on top of everything, I pick Remans for one simple reason, they look awesome and fearsome.

Klingon or Romulan, 'cause I'd love one of those bloody cloaking devices half the tanks I face seem to have...

I kinda like the Ferengi, though. Greedy, cowardly, pacifists. The world could do with more people like that... :teethhappy:

That's terrible news, to which gruesome and horrific manner did you die in? Since that's what red shirts seem to do haha

I'd be happy if half my team were human

And no idea what race they were and don't understand how to google, but the black and white guys from TOS.

Ferrengi.

Ugly bastards, but orgasms by rubbing their ear.... why the hell not...?

And they have lots of monies...

Second choice is Klingon (they are the stoners/metalheads of Star Trek)

I thought the races in ST are representatives of RL races.

Gotta include stereotypes and jingoism though.

IE

Starfleet : American

Ferengi : UK

Vulcan : Japanese

Klingon : Russian

Etc...

Romulans remind me more of the Russians, Klingons more remind me of the Japanese and the Vulcans remind more of the French.

Well Vulcans are smart but boring except Spock.

Ferengi are ugly and they have horrible personality

Borgs are also ugly species

So basicly only "decent" species of humanoids that Star trek has based on looks and how they treat others and way they think. Human is the best choice.

Klingons and Romulans and rest of the species lacks something that make Humans as species far better. Altough Some funniest moments and best dialog comes from species other than human.

In short: Humans at Star Trek are easy to understand, they look atleast decent, some Humans have funny moments like Picard. Also Humans are presented more coplex way than let say Ferengi or Klingons etc...

Like how Picard has idealistic view of Justice, order, peace and stuff. While some fellas reeks corruption, too much ego or are just ignorant or stupid.

Did not like her -_-

Spock is still the funniest and most interesting Vulcan at Star Trek series.
