Hello, i have a question about program called tank inspector. It shows ~150 mm armor on m4 mantlet and ~170 mm on m4a3e8 mantlet - is it true? Because if so i will return to play these tanks.

Spaced + turret armors = effective armor. Unless you shoot in empty space behind spaced armor - then only spaced counts.

Yes, those gun mantlets make the turrets surprisingly bouncy if you can go hulldown. I remember a match where i got a Steel Wall in T25/2, which has very poor armor for Tier 7. I got it because i went for the hill on Mines and because i wasn't able to get on top, i went hulldown and slugged it out with the enemy tanks. It was hilarious seeing them all bounce on my turret or miss me, while i caused a lot of damage. Yes, i did survive that match.

It wasn't a great match, but it was a fun match.
