WoT Assistant Team greets all Windows Phone users!

We’re glad to announce that a new version of WoT Assistant for Windows Phone is approaching its final stages of development and now we need your help in making this app perfect. By taking part in our program, you will have a unique opportunity to get the latest beta versions of WoT Assistant before its worldwide release, test new features and interfaces, as well as provide comments, ideas and report any problems you may encounter.

To join the Team please follow these 2 simple steps:

  1. Send your email (the one used to login in the Marketplace) at wot_assistant_wp@wargaming.net and wait till your email is added to the distribution list.
  2. Once you’re added (up to 24h) you will receive an email, open it in your smartphone and press on a link provided. This will install the beta version onto your device. Note: if you haven't received this mail, please check the Junk mail folder.

And you’re ready to go!

Can I install it on my Nokia 6150? :hiding:

It is best phone *Jeremy Clarkson voice* IN THE WORLD *Clarkson off* so I didn`t bother with smartphones. This is first time I have some reason to buy one.

So, is this app not official?

I want to know if I should report it or not, because it says it's official and made by Wargaming America. Is there even such a thing as Wargaming America?

I sent a request from the e-mail account used for the WoT account containing my Live account e-mail about 28 hours ago and received no response on either of them.

LE:

The response finally arrived via the Live account; also, it ended in the Junk folder.

So, the new app is here. Can anyone test and see if it can be installed even if they did not sign for beta testing?

PS:

Can we report issues here as well?

No, this page is read only. To install this beta version, please follow the instructions above. And, sure, you can report issues here as well.

First thing I noticed is the icon of the installed app does not match the icon on the install page in the marketplace.

I like the first one better.

Got it on the Beta, though it doesn't replace the live version so I get two icons.  I'll uninstall the base one.

I'm using Nokia Lumia 520 with WP8.1 Developer Preview. App is downloaded from US windows store and running fine on EU account. Today I've submitet my request thru e-mail in this post. Are there any differences between US and this version ?

Yay! This is nice to have. But, might want to make this more publicly known, as only a microscopic percentage of your playerbase actually reads the forums... With good reason I might add.

Anyway, I'm in. Let's see what WG can come up with on an unusual and more advanced platform like WP!

The assistant should be able to view mission progress. Hope this is the appropriate place to bring this up. Of course not just the windows phone version

Yea, there are some! Safer login is the major feature for me though. Better detailed information and all.

However, basically this app doesn't add all that much to the whole WoT experience be honest. (same for Android/iOS apps). Comparing players is only useful for so many and gets old quickly, atleast for me, I don't give a flying **** about stats ;)

What I'd like to see in an app is some of what's been said here before;

1. Chat system! Would be awesome to have out of game aswell.

2. Mission progress.

3. View inventory (tanks...)

4. View current XP gathered in a specific tank

5. View information on tanks as ingame/wiki (hope that silly wiki gets an update, really)

6. Maybe even view performance(details) of last few(5, 3?) games

7. Links to the youtube channel WG has, for those instructional videos and whatnot.

8. Updating live-tile with credit+gold+freeXP updates or performance of last played game, anything more than just the icon would do really. It's WP8.1, most advanced (by lightyears) startscreen of them all, love it when apps make use of that.

As of today the update of the app requests Location access, why is that?
