wow just been in a battle with a 2 man platoon driving the  "Pz.Kpfw. 38H 735 (f)"

nice looking tank, does anyone have one? I hope they come back to the gift shop soon "I'd buy that for a dollar"

.

The Pz.Kpfw. 38H 735 (f) is a German tier 2 premium light tank. It is currently not available from the in-game store.

In May 1940 the French Army had more than 800 vehicles of this type, most of which were captured by the German forces. They were widely used by the Wehrmacht to supplement existing armor.

Since it is a captured French tank, its play style differs from the other low-tier German tanks. Even so, it is often compared to the Maus because of its low-damage gun, low mobility, and high armor. One may use it as a line breakthrough tank or a durable sniper. Two hits (possibly even one) directed towards the commander's cupola or turret ring may disable this tank for the remainder of the battle.

This tank was removed from the in-game store in February 2012, following the introduction of the French Tech Tree. Since then, it has been available in the gift shop twice (August 2012 and May 2013).

Yeah, do have one. Believe that I bought it in august 2012 or right before it was removed from the in-game store. I bought it some time after it got it first major nerf.

But I did not exploit it too much. Have only taken it onto the battlefield 38 times and I've done ok-ish with it.

W/R - 71.1%

Average damage - 561

Kills per battle - 3.9 (148 kills total)

Max kills in a battle - 8

Survival rate - 81.6%

Kill/death ratio - 21.1

Efficiency - 2891

WN8 - 2988

Average XP - 806 (with premium)

Max XP - 1614

So these stats compared for a normal tier II tank is rather well, but if you take into consideration that this was a powerhouse in tier 2 before, those stats are not impressive at all.

But it have been parked up in my garage for a very long time no. Long before it got really nerfed. But rumors have it that it is still an ok little tank, even if it's not the chief of the tier 2's anymore.

I bought it right when game was released, as I had tried it in beta test and noticed it's a must have tank. Quite some time later, I sold it because I needed carage slots and didn't really play tier 2 anymore :harp:. Luckily support was nice enough to give it back few months ago :playing:

When game was released, it was total beast because there really wasn't too many tanks able to penetrate it and gold rounds were sold only for gold so it was very rare to get shot by it. Even if there were those few tanks that could maybe pen it, everyone were new to this game. I might have been beginner too, but you guys know how well noob can get through thick armor, even if driver of that thick armor is total noob :teethhappy:.

Now there's all kinds of nasty things that kill Pz38H easily, but it still works in hands of good player.

I have one, got it with invite code. It's a nice tank but I rarely play it as I find it boring vehicle.

(Re)Bought mine on ebay for 15 euros. And boy was it a 15 euros worth spending on. It might not be the ultimate unstoppable force it used to be once. But its still quite a fun tank to play.

Don't ever regret getting one.

I just got one in a regional contest, and I'm struggling to get a good game, even against tier 2 tanks. It's very slow, a gun that is only OK for its tier, and any T18 or Cruiser III (among others) destroys me without problems.

It may have been great before, but right now is an underdog.

I have one.

Got it with the boxed version of WoT, which was sold at the end of 2011.

(If I knew that the prices for it would go that high I would have bought more).

Maybe you can find some reasonably priced ones somewhere online, but unless you really want that tank anything more then 20 (maybe 30) Euros is not worth it. Think the bonus gold, tank, and premium days in the box come to about 20 Euros if you bought it in the WoT shop.

But I have seen the tank pop up in the shop from time to time so watch out for specials.

It is still a fun tank (especially as it got a new MM in a recent patch) but not the invincible Mini Maus it was once before.

It bounces nearly all of the little machine guns but TDs are really its nemesis. Keep a few gold shells for the time you meet T18s face to face as you wont be able to outflank them :) And its always worth to see the horror on them when you punch through their frontal armor.

Had one drive off a cliff in shock when I did that to him.

Hi, I have a mini maus, like has been said, it`s certainly not the tank it once was! That being said it still does ok for me, although I do find in match matches recently, that I am the only tier 2 in an all tier 3 game:tongue: try using the french H35 it is identical apart from the gun:great:

just started playing mine again :P

crew still isnt 100%

but damn its to easy to get the "cool headed" medal in this thing lol, auto cannons still as usless as they used to be against it.

think i might invest in it some more, lower tier tanks don't get neff or buff bat as much as higher ones.

plus seal clubbers Vs seal clubbers = damn good games.

I still have one though mostly just dust off to do doubles during specials to give other light commanders for tanks I have a little boost

Power creep has aged it slightly but it is still one of the best tanks tier for tier out there, not to mention it can give stuff above it a run for its money (even snagged a pz J kill with it not so long ago, which being a driver of myself, is not a walk in the park)

You just have to be a bit careful... theres alot of high pen stuff around now (disregarding silver ammo) and as with anything else those running stat mods will be hunting you if you are even half decent

Still have mine and play it regularly. Couple of pals have it too. However we find that if in. A platoon of 2 or 3 of these you always get bottom 5 weight and play against tier 3s. It can just about hold it's own but a bit annoying as it would be great op fun to be in a platoon of these against tier2s.

Hmm... I think the one time restoration is worth it to bring this tank as back in the day it gave me my very first top gun.

Quick question. I thought that premium tanks should get preferential mm. But I am more often than not bottom weight in this tank and against tier 3s. And when I platoon with a mate in another mini maus we are always bottom tier.

does this need buffed mm?

Its not really a feature of premium tanks, some do get preferential MM but that is more due to the fact they would have for example a terrible gun for +2 mm. However a lot of them are good enough to get regular MM.

The thing with the Micromaus however is that it used to be overpowered many patches ago(before premium ammo for credits, and some high pen guns like on the british tanks). So they nerfed its MM and have since then left it with this kind of MM(worst MM of all tier 2 tanks).

Well, not the worst MM.

The American T2 Light Tank Wargaming just gave for a mission last month gets to tier 4 battles (to my surprise the very first time), so is even worse.
