Hi Folks,

Just to make a slight deviation from the usual; whine, this  tank is OP, Noob and Prem round issue threads, i found this article on the BBC website and thought i'd share.

Hopefully it hasn't already been posted, its not a bad little read and i think it's worth a few minutes of your time just to get a feel for the history of these steel behemoths and their desperate origins:

I hope some of you think this was worth while

:great:

+1 even before I read it, just because it wasn't average whine post. GJ.

Cheers for that.

I know it's not massively in depth, but i just thought it was interesting to get an over view on how it all started off and the people behind it.

Still should have been some mention of the Tog in there, Land Battleship committee and all. lol

When first got in game I was a bit disappointed that "Big Willie" wasn't the British tier 1 tank. Although thinking back I guess trying to fight with just those side sponsons would give newbies nightmares hell it would still give me nightmares now.

Anyone who wants a more in depth read can try The Devil's Chariots which is dirt cheap on Amazon.
