More people should go to city to make it more fun.

Still trying to learn all the angles in this map and common engagement areas.  The town is tempting but there isn't a lot of hard cover.

great guide for starters and pros , but i would like to know , why chose such a not so popular map for that video ? or you have already done other guides for other maps ? and a note : hidden village is not the newest map , windstorm is .

So this is what the video tells you:

The valley is for tanks with good armor and with good gun depression and you can shoot into the middle and the city.

City is for scouts (or rather one single scout) ... but only for one initial spot while your artillery is still reloading and can't shoot.

City is for mediums ... but you can't win the map from there because even if you win the city you will be killed by from the valley.

Sounds like the fail map that it is.

All I'm gonna say 60% of the map is inaccessible

Thanx for Red Shire optimisations, (which made it really good now), but this one, comes second baddest map in the game, after Swamp!

Too shame because it is beautiful but it has lousy game strategy options.

Meds? Lights? are so useless on this one, perhaps just hull down tanks can play this propperly.

It needs to be opened, so the 1/3 closed area with the mountain to be playable. Open it just as you did with North west.

Shometing is just not right with WG Asian map desings.

Dragon Ridge: crazy hills

Pearl River: one way ticket- roads

Sacred Valley: a small bucket filled vith tanks

Btw nice try to give us some advices, but the map Hidden Valley has a big open middle (useless 99% of the time). And if one team won't get any fast tank they lose 2/3 of the map instantly (town and middle)

The main problem with the map is that simply doesn't matter.  Owning the field and towns offers no advantages It's the "Banana" That dominates the map both for defending and attacking base's.

There's one more good spot for artillery when you start at the top base. You haven't mentioned that in the video but I think this spot is really useful. I'm talking about square E1-2. There's a small ditch there and you can fire at more targets in the canyon. Village is also possible.

I still don't like the map.

Nice how you showed 0% offensive possibility. It's just cover behind your rock and fire at enemy covering behind his rock and there are some better arty spots btw. This is example where team with better players in those positions will win, and there are no more positions than the regular camp at hill on base position, so every of those positions will be taken by some tanks and 5min slugging match can begin, after which tanks have soo low hp that a td camping in base is a game changer.

The ONLY reason you should take the town if you have 3-4 meds is so you can put your fast arty there to shoot enemy tanks behind rocks in canyon and I've seen only one guy doing that with his bat chat arty besides me ?  Why did you not show that WG ? You think arty players deserve no fair suggestions, or you just did not think of that in your tests ?

This map looks nice.

But, why oh why isn't it possible to put this map (and other new maps) to map rotation more often?

You guys are really making us crazy, putting such a nice maps in the game and letting us play them so scarcely! :D
