but they have identical armor values if i didnt miss anything

Not at all, premium one has much better armor. I'm not sure whether it's because it's sloped or something, but you can definitely see the difference on the battlefield.

I just shot 15 shots into various parts of the H35's front with my Tetrarch.. i did 1hp damage with the 1 HE shell i used.

Facing head on too...

Tetrarch shouldnt have much problems unless H35 is angled, but in Loltraktor, Amx38 and other tanks with low penetration - drivers hatch every time

drivers hatch is perhaps the most obvious weakspot on the hotchkiss, but the commanders hatch in the turret front is perhaps even worse. if the hotchkiss stands sideways to you you cant hit the drivers hatch and need to settle for the commanders hatch and probably kill the commander, and what would happen if you did that? well the commander normally does just about EVERYTHING except driving, so you´ll get a tank with a gun that is inaccurate, slow, in a slow turret, reduced view range and radio range and slightly diminished driver skills (which is not too bad as it is slow already). so the only things a hotchkiss without a commander can do is just taking some shots. perhaps being a mobile shield.

How do you angle this tank?

I hear stories about Steel Wall but my H35 is penetrated with every second shot (frontally, and frontal angle). It's nothing like Pz38H. I'm penetrated even by tier I.

You must be doing something wrong, not sure what tho.

The H35 is a monster for tier 2. Think mini-maus

Say it quietly, but this tank is massively OP.

+/- Three maps

+ Always Top Tier
+ No arty
+ Lots of armour
+ good gun
+ mainly new players who don't know where to shoot

- It's slow-ish (Faster than a Maus, a 90% driver gets to 23 quite quickly)
- Shots don't carry well, which is a slight issue on Malinowka

I haven't lost a match in this thing since buying vents and equipping it with a med kit.

Dont forget there're stock statistics on that screen, elite h35 is almost same tank as pz38h735f.

Almost - H35 37mm gun has 5mm less penetration than 735 gun, and each of his guns is less accurate than 735's gun.
Which means that mano a mano 735 has an edge - it can aim and try to reliably oneshot H35 at distance that for H35 it is just a matter of luck.

H35 best gun is 25mm that has 5mm more penetration than the Pz. 38H735(f) gun!
The Pz. 38H735(f) has higher damages per shoot but the H35 with 25mm has a better rate of fire.

OMG YOU ARE GOD OF WOT.

ps: seriously, how did you even damaged anyone? I tried all guns, gold ammo, I NEVER did any damage to anyone. 25 shot to the back of tetrach = 0 damage. Im thru this tank now, so it can rot in hell now, idc...

Protip: aim at lesser angled parts to the tank. Highly angled ass will bounce, while sides not. And avoid shooting tracks when tank is slightly angled toward you, its the way to make famous 0% crits.

I have a crapload of games experience in this tank and i beg to differ:

+ Always Top Tier= Wrong
+ No arty= Wrong
+ Lots of armour= True but meaningless; BT2, MS1 pz35t T2 and tetrarchs pen everytime, Pz2 often kills the crew.
In arty and Tier3 battles in which it is 30% of the time in my experience, armor is just like inexistent.
+ good gun= True but nothing comparable with the tetrarch. Gun cannot hit above 450-500meters
+ mainly new players who don't know where to shoot= You don't need in most tanks

Nothing comparable with Tetrarch or MiniMaus. However i agree on the fact it is a noob friendly tank that will resist to most Tier1 shots which is helpful for new players.

IMO it has not enough impact because of slow speed and very slow agility, i even prefer the Renault FT which while limited to 20 km/h reaches it instantly nommater what terrain so it is actually faster most of the time. And the Renault FT never gets in Tier3 games and arty, so in spite of crap armor it is actually less vulnerable than H35.

Not sure about you, but I in T3 battle can do quite a lot in H38 premium. Sure, I won't take many Pz38 shots, but neither he can, and plenty guys here have 50% crews. So just pewpew them from a far.

Yes the H38 (minimaus) is a much better tank indeed

H35 with 25mm can take an epic pounding and still deliver good pen with DPS (no alpha ofcourse). I like the tank a lot and my crew isn't even 100% yet. 4 steel walls so far, 1 top gun, 2 confederate and 1 invader.
