Maybe I'm wrong, but this is how I see battles on the new and "improved" Erlenberg:

You mean 90% leming to right and 10% go left... but yours is quite acurite.

Lies! Your map implies movement. A picture of a tent and campfire would be more accurate. Oh and a picture of someone driving into a river...

You could make a very similar picture for most maps. One might think it is a design feature. Each side gets an approach which is favourable to that side up to a certain point where the other side has an strong defensive position. Sometimes there is a third, neutral, approach. In other words, map design seems to be promoting lemming trains. The only real exception to that rule would be hidden village which is a straight up corridor map with a secondary neutral approach.

not quite, but if people actually looked at the map they would see that 1 side is doing the sensible thing and the other a stupid thing. Both caps can be taken easier from just 1 side so everyone really should be fighting there.

It made me laugh, but yes it's true in the vast majority of standard battles I've played on that map since 8.11.

My statement is always: cross bridge means we lose !

I'm correct in 90% of the games.

Which is horrible because in 10% I'm wrong and that means that the idiots will keep crossing the bridge every time because 'it sometimes works'.

It's actually the old tactic backwards. Now the north team is camping on the left side and the other team is camping on the right side.

I always did that. If you don't push at the beginning, it becames a campfest for the next 15 minutes. I rather die in the first minute, than camp for 10 minutes and then have a draw.

On the "new" map - i will push the right side, no matter where i spawn. I love that ridge. :)

Still lots and lots better, than the previous  with each team sitting by the river and not moving an inch.

Totally agree, by the time my team camp it out for full 15 minutes, a draw and little XP i can win another battle.

Also love the ridges on the right side (not the castle side) so i go there where ever i start.

i go where theres hardly anyone. but sometimes i can't be bothered getting bombed by the enemy so i just go with the lemming train.

also another map i hate especially when it is assault that is the worst mode for it.

At least it isn't a campfest and for that I think its a massive improvement! Now if only they would fix kormarin by completely removing it!

I like to go the opposite way just to confuse the enemy. Wait, what? There's a tank where there should be none!

You are right, but you don't have to cross the bridge. You can easily drive through the water (sure about south, not played north yet).... :hiding:
