Abrams have jet engine if I remember correctly. Its a big no-go. I would put it in 4th place.

Leopard 2 FTW!But all modern tanks (or at least most of them) look equal..

Why isn't the Leopard 2A7 at the top of the list with its glorious speed and still decent armor? I don't find anything particularly interesting about the Abrams much. Plus it's more expensive than the Leopard 2. The guy did a big mistake, by talking about numbers. When you look at numbers, you'd want to focus on the cost and design simplicity, not actual numbers.

What's odd is that the guy forgot that the T-90 actually has an autoloader. So did the Type 99 and K2.

Whatever they say the Leopard 2 is a beast, and for me it should be on the top!

None of these tanks have proven themselves, so saying which one is better is e-peen measurement.

I wonder if the guy that made this one is italian...anyways if I was going into combat I would want to ether be in a Merkava or a Leopard 2 as those two are the best if you ask me.(Merkava for surviving hits and Leo for its good mobility and weapons system)

Also the guy that made the list mentions that the Leo is not on top because it is lacking numbers...but I cant find any numbers at all on the "winner" that is only used by the italians,so it cant be more then the leo that is made for many countries in europe

It uses a Turbine engine like the ones most army helicopters use, they can use the exhaust to go faster as the inside of a turbine engine works more or less like a jet engine yes,but it is no jet engine. And it drinks fuel like a f**ker so I would not recommend the Abrams for anyone as the logistics needed to keep it on the front is huge.

Emmmm.....many of them have seen combat,Mostly in Iraq,Afghanistan,Kosovo and Gaza but probably more if I started looking into the matter.

At the end, I think this list is complete BS but I can't be asked to make my own list not to mention it would again probably be influenced by my own personal opinion on tanks I mostly have never seen in real life and I have not spoken to crews that have been in over half of the tanks mentioned so I have no idea how they are on a personal level.

Exactly the problem with Abrams - you have to have 3 fuel trucks driving behind to keep tank moving :D

No offence, but tanks fighting monkeys with Kalashnikovs and RPG-2/7 isn't something to be proud of. The Abrams and Challengers were fighting T-55 and T-72 export models (you don't even have access to telescopic sights).

Apparently the T-72 exports were supplied with training APFSDS, with a steel penetrator instead of something like DU or tungsten.
