Why didn't you just ask to buy some gold?

I just asked my mum for a skin for my T29 she said "no" and my bank account is one of these stupid things you can't use till you're 18.

Surely did mate, lol, but now that I'm a parent I know the implications and it's my duty to act like a responsible old fart

haha fair enough. i might be like that if i had kids though. but they might find that their pocket money has shrunk a bit. ... Shift+R improves the quality of this image. CTRL+F5 reloads the whole page.

I think most people have been deceitful to their parents at some point and besides, it's only natural to be deceitful to parents as it's a way of challenging authority.

Challenging authority and deceipt are two different things. One implies a direct confrontation on any level, one implies doing things behind their backs. In the OP's case he has just cost his parents 5 quid. If he is encouraged he may continue doing it. As such I cannot give him a pat on the back and say 'good boy!'. He's not been a good boy at all. He should fess up and take it on the chin like a man :blinky:, figuratively speaking of course. But with that said he has admitted hating his parents, which puts it in a realm I have no business commenting or advising on. Either he's trolling or he has issues he needs to deal with.

16 actually, a bank account can't be used until you have a debit card.

No, challenging authority is doing what you can to bend the rules or pushing boundaries, using deceit comes into that.

No it's 16, as to access a bank account you need a debit card which you get at 16, a credit card you get at 18, but I wouldn't suggest getting the latter.

well they are lieing. Too be honest i've used my debit card a few times when i was 14 years old (i think) but then it depends on the bank since im with barclays (NOOOOO!!!!!)

so yeah also depends whether your parents will allow you the responsibility to use said card.

That moment when you see a kid ask if his parents will find out he bought gold for a game....

They need to make this game pay to play and put a 15+ age limit x.x
