HI guys,

I am playing at University and the on campus internet does not allow for world of tanks to be played.

This is an obvious problem as I am very dedicated to this game in my free time.

Unfortunately I am not in a position to spend money on applications so can anyone suggest a free way of possibly bypassing this block.

P.S I have tried the popular frozenway and it could not connect to the server.

If you even get a working free VPN, forget about using it. Too oversaturated and high latency to play effectively.

Your best bet is getting a 4G/LTE mobile connection.

Even then you're looking at 150ms~. 3G is sufficient and may be better for connectivity.

35ms to 45ms with LTE.

Sure, the ping is abysmal with HSPA, but it works with LTE.

Maybe so but in built-up areas your connection is going to suffer and that's not even considering if there are any compatible masts nearby. OP needs to go to the OFCOM website to verify what he can get.

LTE is optimized for low latencies, I also get 35ms while being in Dortmund. Most built up areas use high-speed ADSL or cable because LTE is data-limited. You may have used HSPA in the past, but it seems you never used LTE.
