Hi!

Could somebody explain teamkill to me. I have just been banned for 24 hours. I am not quite sure why, except for "Team kill". I killed a goy a couple of days a go , and I apologises right away and made the dammage good, by killing 3 or 4 other enemies. I shot a blue tank who was harrasing a teammate by shooting at him  a couple of weeks ago and I might have sprayed a few bullets on friendlys in my PzKw 1 aus. C in the heat but I have never deliberately harmed any ( except the guy who was shooting on our teammate...) How does it work? any experience? I am not a very good player but try to stick to the rules. Te team kil came out of the blue, no warning no nothing....is it a an automated proceess? or?

1. Automated

2. 2-3+ Penetrating hits on a friendly would mean ur blue, if u hit them while blue u get a ban. Unfortunately for u, u were in a PZ 1c :)

I see.....  Am i able to see if I am blue on the screen? Or is only the other guys on my team?  I don't want to be killed by friendlies? How do I avoid this in the future? (  Maybe disuse the PzKw 1 aus C :-) )

I dont want to stay blue forever?!! How long time are you blue? Will the entry after the ban have reset the "blue" condition....Sorry for all these questions, but I feel awfull and rather stupid, and dont want to spoil the game for anyone.

1. Yes

2. Just don't damage friendlies and you should be fine

3. Usually for about 5-10 battles you didn't do any friendly damage (if u hit someone while ur blue in garage but not in game u get blue ingame, when u hit someone when ur blue ingame u get a ban. The more you get banned the longer period ban u get.

4. If you get banned from the game for a certain period of time you should be normal, but as last time I got game banned was like 2 years ago I'm really not sure.

Hope this helped.

What does blue in garage mean??  I understand the ingame as such...

And it was not a 24 hour ban but a 10 min ban...I could play in the morning :-)

Thanks for all the helpfull advise.

Blue in the garage means you have done some team damage/hits - and are very close to getting an automated ban.

I'd suggest playing tanks like the Panzer 1c a lot more carefully.

Rule 1.  Just do NOT shoot your own team, regardless of wether you think they deserve it.

Rule 2.  Try to be careful where you shoot. The rare hit on a friendly tank that runs into your view just as you fire is pretty much unavoidable, but if it happens frequently then you need to look before you shoot.

once I was asked to help to push a Mathilda up the hill in Hilmmelsdorf is that considered teamdamage too when you grind behind him?

This is not considered teamdamage if you are careful to not damage him while you push.

Ramming damage doesn't actually make or count towards you being blue. However, Wargaming has developed a system that the person who has the highest speed before impact (on a friendly) pays the higher penalty (credits+EXP) But killing people on your team with a ram is not cool I think, pushing them of a cliff or into the water also counts as a teamkill so be careful !

i don't understand the team kill rules,I was in a game 20 min ago when all the team started going one way I sat at the flag for a few seconds to see if any were going to go right, When the arty sitting next to me stuck a shot into me, I turned round to face him and he shot me again and blew me away then he just drove off with a small blue 1 in his score box,Can arty just kill team members with impunity??????.  I did report him for unsportsmanlike behavior but it kind of leaves Me feeling just a bit unsportsmanlike toward the guy who killed me and not knowing if the guy just goes and does it again and gets away with it.
