this must be really a lot of hard work :/. First I am happy that the T-54 will be one of the first HD models ingame :D... But the BatChat 25t... I would like to know when they add this tank as it is my favorite tanku in game. Btw the T-54 and the Tiger I look amazing!

Now I want a tanker's hat too! :honoring:

But seriously, good job with the modelling and all the graphics stuff. Looks very impressive. I hope the new physics will go together well and we'll finally get a sense of driving an actual tank (I'm thinking sound, physics and aesthetics).

Looks epic. Really liking that M103 model as well. Close ups show how nice the added detail will be.

Exciting times for WOT :glasses: Keep up the good work.

Variable weather changing view range, real good to hear that is being worked on. Will give real variation to game play... Though it may hurt tanks with particular strengths, thinking particularly German with their general view-range advantages, Enemy will be able to simply wait for a sandstorm/snowstorm/mist or rain squal to use the cover to close range.

Interesting though, look forward to seeing how it works out.

Real life weather changes are something I am looking forward to very much as well.

You have a valid point. It may affect certain tanks more than others, depending on the circumstances. But that is what makes it interesting. For example you are on Redshire, with the enemy team having quite a few Tank Destroyers, no one dares to move or advance. But then a storm hits the map, and you have a good opportunity to advance with your fast tank and size the day. More dynamic :)

Your right, its like the accuracy buff really helped russian derpers, now this is going to help them again, exactly like you said, not being overly dramatic but there is going to be less and less reasons to drive the snipers.

I play wot since a bit over a year maybe, if I recall correctly, so I always enjoyed the graphics. but not their performance. also the latest version brought some surreal high contrast over exposed biased look of the image. im disappointed of it. that was a step back. about the pseudo godrays they are not needed if they are fake. a simple bloom is enough instead. a step back the latest version really. in general I would enjoy those new features but FIRST other departments must start to work as hard and add FULL support for hardware newer than year 2000! not just compatibility. its been 14 years since then. if you have noticed in on of the explosions how horrible it looked with all this effect planes clipping. modern hardware can make games look as in wot intro movies you see around. IF THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY

About view range in storms, I think rather than it setting a cap on view range they should set it as a camouflage modifier.

I.E. a HUGE hulking heavy would still be easily visible in the rain or snow but a small light tank might be more able to slip by. I say this as scouts atm are disadvantaged due to the high spotting range of high tier tanks, mediums or heavies etc, and this could add an advantage which didn't previously exist.

Change your colour filter options you may have one set which is giving this bleached out effect. I use the Deep one which is quite nice.

I'm rather worried how such amazing changes will impact FPS. After all WOT is known for being a badly optimized game running at barely 30-40 fps maxed out on a pc that runs battlefield 3 maxed out at 50 fps......

Unless some massive engine change and optimization takes effect before implementation of such advanced graphics and features we will see a massive hit on performance (ie. players that play game maxed out now will have to reduce settings to medium).

I'd like an answer to this problem, what do devs plan to do in order to optimize their game and how much of a hit will our pc's get with these graphical and effect changes?

Can't you guys embed youtube videos so we can watch them fullscreen without having to go to youtube? Or is it just me who can't set it fullscreen?

PS.: Good taste with those Dell monitors. Using a similar one myself and buying a second one soon.

So I assume currently working skins won't work anymore? I'm concerned about it because I don't like WoT custom "skins" and downloaded historical (or "looks like historical") skins for almost all tanks.
