Here is some general info about the new Upcoming T9 heavy tank. The actually only true Operational US Heavy tank. The M103.  (Pershing is difficult to call a heavy tank imo)

Just like the British Conqueror tank, the M103 was designed to defeat Soviet Heavy tanks like the Josif stalin tank and the Just arrived T-10 during a conventional WW3.

The united states army did not used the Main battle tank concept first. Infact the concept truly appeared with the T62, M60, Leopard 1....
The US army in terms, reclassified there tanks via gun calibre, not neccesarly weight. Below 90mm became a light tank. The M24 chaffee and the new M41 walker bulldog. The Medium tanks where those off the standard 90mm gun. The M26 pershing and the M46-47-48 patton tanks. Above 90mm became the heavy tanks. In this case the M103.

The M103 shared many parts with the M47-48 patton to ease logistics. The engine was the same, and the hull was virtually the same next to enlarged and an extra roadwheel

The main armament was the 120mm M58 gun. Ammo capacity was 33 rounds. Penetration sources vary. But was over 280mm at 1000meters. The first version had faulty fire controls, but the M103A1 had the new sight (Steroscopic T52) and T33 ballistic computer. This gave the M103 imense accuracy and performance.(Just like the 105mm, the 120mm was so accurate it could easily hit captured german stahlhelms at ranges up to 1000 meters). Also usefull things was a semi-caseless shell. There was no empty shell casing once the tanks gun was fired, because the shell casing would burn up along with the explosion

Variants=
M103 1957. 300 built.
M103A1 1959. 219 converted or rebuilt. New sight (Steroscopic T52) and T33 ballistic computer. Removed one coaxial machine gun. New turret electric amplidyne system traverse. Turret basket.
M103A2 1964. 153 converted or rebuilt. New 750 hp (559 kW) diesel engine from the M60 tank, increasing the road range to 480 km at the expense of a lower maximum speed of 37 km/h. New sight coincidence XM2A.

I wouldn't have hope that it will come in it's true from, it will be nerfed to be T34-lookalike for sure.

Front hull armor: M103 - 130mm, IS-4 - 160mm, VK45 - 170mm (sides and rear are a joke on M103 compared to other t9). Front turret armor are equal - 250mm.
Dont expect much...

Can you see that HUGE weakspot on the back of the tank? It looks very similar to T2 light engine exhaust dont you think?

Stats
Posted Image
Possible stock turret, armor stats are unknown to me.

Posted Image

Possible guns are:
105mm T5E1 as stock gun
120mm T122
120mm M58(T123E1) with same damage as T122 but higher penetration value due to higher muzzle velocity

Pretty sure the 280 penetration at 1000 meters wasn't with normal AP shells. Penetration will probably be 260-270 mm with normal AP shells at close range and in-game.

As i said, sources vary. One source states 250mm, the other more.

Just liked the 20PDR, it used both APCBC rounds as APDS ones

Knew it wasn't 250 with normal AP but more of the BL-10 range. T-122 will be the top gun for M103 for sure and 105mm will probably be the stock gun. T110 will probably get the better one, though I doubt it's penetration will be over 200 with normal AP. Also looks like the gun can't penetrate T-54 frontal armor too well with the penetration of 102mm of 60 degree angled plate, though it is 900 meters.

Yeah. And WOT uses much shorter penetration ranges

Hm in theory they could make the 120mm much more penetrating with AP rounds, but the gun was more designed to fire HEAT rounds. These could penetrate over 300mm and where designed to primarly tackle the IS3.

It makes sense, almost any tank of that Era had HEAT rounds as the primary Anti-tank round

This tank didn't appear until 1957, what happened to World War II?
