So WG finally put the PzIV Hydro for sale as part of the Razor WoT mouse costing 80$. I personally hope you will still be able to get outside that as currently I'm really in no need of new mouse.

Looking at the wiki the Pz IV Hydro is like the ingame Pz IV but unable to mount the derp gun.

It has the same spec. 7.5cm gun.

Is it more manoeuvrable, tougher armour, etc.

Thanks

The price of 80$ is cheaper as the price which i have to pay in Holland for a Razer deathadder, so this looks like a good deal to me

The price when you ship it to EU is €80 and if you are unlucky you will need to pay customs and/or VAT when importing it into the EU.

I just bought a new mouse so no thanks. Not to mention that I really hate that orange color it has. It looks disturbing. My new Roccat Kone Pure is just simply awesome.

20.000 units. Not going to be a rare tank then, like pz 2 j or bt-sv.

To many people have it these days :P

But I might search ebay for a Pz4 Hydro code. Its bound to come up at some point. There were 5k units for the Pz2J and 5k for the BT-SV and you can still get them if you know were to look. So I'm guessing it shouldn't be to hard to find a Pz4 Hydro code from someone who just wants the mouse. Unfortunately the shipping taxes to EU are a bit to high for just a mouse and a tier 5 tank.

Not really. I think the number on EU server is well under 1000.

Are you sure about the armour? Iirc. from the wiki, the Pz.IV has more hull armour (80mm vs 50mm), but same turret armour. I'm not sure about the gun mantlet.

I'd be happy to have one in the garage if it was sold at the same price as the T-25.

It's now listed (the mouse) at £69.99 in the Uk but there is no direct mention of the free tank.

edit: The tank is a footnote on a graphic if you dig deep.

As far as I can see, you can only "register your interest" and have a "notify me" rather than ordering the baby outright.

Ah, well, as long as I am not guaranteed that there will be a tank in the box I order, I will just forgo ordering, but I was sorely tempted.

The temptation stemmed from looking at the stats on tank compare and being a bit miffed to find that, should the info there be correct, there would now be a German medium with higher agility, better radio range, a faster gun, better gun depression and 70 extra hit points when compared to a Chi-Nu Kai. Add to that the limited matchmaking – admittedly, I do not know whether that will be true – and you just feel like WG has you over a barrell if you like Japanese premiums... Makes you wonder once more why the Chi-Nu Kai lost some 35 HP between initial tests and final introduction.

FYI: I mailed Razer's support and just got this reply from them:

Thanks for contacting Razer Support.  With the WoT DeathAdder, currently we don't have any ETA when we will have it in stock again, please click on the Notify Me button and our warehouse will inform you once it has become available again.  Please let us know if you have any other questions in a reply to this e-mail, and have a great day.

I find it a bit odd that they launch a new product and don't have any to sell!

I just got mine and had my first battle. A win with two kills. It has good match making, good mobility, very good gun depression, and a bigger health pool than the standard P4.

This is a fun premium medium.

It went out of stock so quick because (according to USA forums I've read) Razer informed their existing customers of this before we were informed and allowed them to pre-order. It was also announced ahead of WG by FTR & others. So those in the know from third parties got a much greater opportunity to buy from the first batch of these than others did. Also, despite it being a limited offer, Razer sold as many units to each individual as they wanted, so some bought well over 10 units each to re-sell on EBAY at huge profit. That is despite Razer knowing very well that people were buying in large quantities to re-sell on ebay, that reselling on ebay invalidates the Razer warranty on the mouse, and despite the fact that trading in codes is prohibited by WG. All of that add's up to a properly mishandled & unfair offer (almost entirely Razer's fault, not WG's), where some customers were effectively disadvantaged from having a fair opportunity to act on this offer compared to other customers, which is categorically against trading laws.

WG are going to put it right, there is more Razer stock coming and it is almost certain they will have codes for the hydraulic included in them (even if that means many more than 20k tanks become available). Just be patient, and don't get ripped off by the scrubs on ebay by buying off them at stupid prices & with zero warranty.

Mouse with tank was back in stock at Razer today. Was in stock at 11.30am, was out of stock again by 11.40am. Came back into stock at 1pm, was out of stock again by 1.30pm and is showing out of stock now. But I would guess if you keep an eye on it over the next couple of days you'll see it back in stock again but only briefly so be fast :-)

http://www.razerzone...azer-deathadder

Re the tank code may not be in the box - According to WG every mouse sold from the Razer site will have the tank included. This as per comment to me from Ectar:

"You're going totally off topic here, but the entire point of the Razer Promo is a combo package.  If you buy a WG branded Deathadder without a code then you're not buying it from Razer as there code will be in the packaging.  You can't buy that specific mouse from Razer without the code".

And he also said the reason for the stock problem was that WG were surprised by how much in demand this was so they hadn't enough in stock to start with, that they are getting more, but it takes time because while WG can produce more hydraulic codes quickly it takes longer for Razer to manufacture more mice, which is all clearly reasonable.

Thanks for the info Max!

I guess I have to check Razer's webstore from time to time and hope to be lucky enough :coin:

Nope. Razer ships to all EU countries from Netherlands - so no VAT.
