  • Auto-aim point selection system changed. How will it change - does anyone have feedback?

So, the new German tanks... Does that indicate that the current tanks will be split or will it be new additions to the tech-tree?

Very, very, very eager to try it out... Pity I don't have time this week!

I would say it's a job well done WG, not an easy task to push such a big update.

:honoring:

Edit: looks like there are some issues with the update; still looking good though. Fingers crossed everything will work smoothly when the tests are done and the update is out.

I'm so confused. Is this a different test server to the one that's been up for the last week or the same one updated? Do I have to download another whole test server or is it just a patch to the existing one?

I can't...

Same issue as with previous round - they used my old account from NA, which got permabanned when in beta servers were splitting into separate EU/NA.

WG: Why did you broke something which worked perfectly for 3 years? And why you didn't fix it asap?

Edit:

Maxmk6: You can patch existing installation.

thy mate, I've just stopped downloading. So get back to BF3 as they don't wanna see testers on the test server....

Edit: Ok, I'm gonna try to login with my account -created before the EU/RU split

Edit2: can't login, no test

Pretty much this.

And if you do test the rest of Update 9.0, we would appreciate if you left feedback here. Thanks in advance.

The engine, gun, hit and tanks being blown up sounds are so insipid.

As to the improved graphics on the "HD" tanks like the tiger simply amazing, and the map changes are great as well.

But the tanks need to sound like real tanks, the guns need to sound like real guns.

Is it really so hard for WG to fix a known serious error (login problem for some/most betatesters) ?

They knew about the problem (many threads and tickets about this), they have located the problem (database with wrong accounts), but they are still unable/unwilling to fix this issue.

Impotence ("we can't fix it") or arrogance ("we don't want to fix it") ?!?

Martin

Ther are mods with nice gun and engine sounds, whay they just dont do same as with OMT markers, make deal with moders and put that mods in game.

Do same with XVM and its win/win for all....

When you look back at the older tank models like the Leopard 1 and ELC, they just look like blurry little rectangles compared to the new models :P

It was promised to be fixed, so they either forgot or didn't make it in time.

Meaning neither of your options, most likely.

Strange when I try to log in it says incorrect email or password yet the exact same details allow me to log into the normal server and I've never had a problem logging into the test server for the previous tests.

When I click the option to recover password everything becomes Russian, you haven't linked us into the Russian server by accident have you WG and the game is looking for our Russian WOT accounts?
