[0.9.9] Team HP Pool Bar

I was able to move down the capbar a little bit but the hp mod itself is not working for me. Tred to find the hidetextfields but it's not there anymore. In my battle.xc: "fragCorrelation": {
    // true - show quantity of alive instead of dead
    // true - показывать количество живых танков вместо убитых
    "showAliveNotFrags": true"

 

 have only this. Can any1 help me out pls?

within 9.8 with the same old config file it looks like that:

 

 

Seems that old configuration file doesnt work anymore, but does anyone have an idea to tranform it into the style of the 9.7 look-a-like?

I think you may have accidentally replaced the swf file from your version with mine. ;)

Damn. You are right, I was sure I denied as Windows wanted to overwrite/replace that file, but it seems I didnt.

Is it possible to move the bar (down) a little as it overlaps with the base capture timers.

 

Edit: ok, it's the game UI that has changed. But a fix - if possible - would be nice.

any chance to get the Team HP pool with the Tratatank style (with the ">" or "<" sign between the 2 numbers ) ?

originally he simply "skinned" your mod, which is very easy to do by changing the backgrounds of the SWF, which was fine, no big deal, he even credited you, but does it bother you that he has now simply made some "small" changes to your Python file, and repositioned things, added a couple of small things, and now claims it as his HIS OWN and ProTanki?

 

Not only that, but to hide that he used your code, he's Obfuscated his Python file so nobody see's that, and also that we can't modify his mod some like he did with yours, to position elements differently etc. under a new skin.

For example, I tried to get him to create a couple of new skins, similar to his old style, he refused to, so I did it myself, but one of them, the one I most want to do I can't do because I can't get into his Python and reposition some of the elements to fit the skin I want to use.

 

In other words, it was okay for him to use your work, to make something nicer but give credit, but not okay for anyone else to do so, but not only that, he no longer gives you credit for the work and code you originally did to create it which he clearly used, and is around 98% still yours.

 

Thoughts?

 

p.s. you can see the last few pages or so in his thread in which I was giving him picture ideas for improving his mod, but he not only refused but then disrespected me for trying to give him ideas and to understand what would work for him to try to make the mod better.

 

UPDATE.....

According to P0LIR0ID, this new mod above is completely "original" code.

So, since I can't say for sure, I will apologize and let it go.

I had only felt compelled to say anything because of how Armegedon had treated me in his thread when I simply wanted to help.

Hi,

 

Just installed this and noticed that the team hit point totals are not displayed during the loading screen, and only appear up to several seconds after the battle starts.

 

Is this normal?

why care? majority of russian modders only care about RU audience (politics play a role in this, but thats just a guess) and things like that happend before and will happen again. best thing is to ignore it/them, cause it really doesn't mean much. support locastans or (EU/NA) mods/modders who don't obfuscate their code.

@MechBuster: Yes this behaviour is normal. It seems to happen more often when the servers are stressed. Once the first enemy is spotted though, the numbers should show up. :)

 

@Kaeptn: Most ru modders are fed up with ppl. stealing their code and selling it for money as their own. That is the main reason for all the python mercering and obfuscation.

 

Updated the mod to 0.9.9.
