Ive not drank all week which is unusual as I enjoy a few glasses of wine or guinness whilst I relax playing the game.  My stats, especially win rate have dropped like a stone...

go figure!

When I played first and last time while... little bit tipsy... I utterly lost my sense of direction and location. Honestly... I got lost in a map that I have played for hundreds of times (Abbey). Anyways interesting indeed... normally players skills deteriorate when under influence and not other way around. xD Maybe it's just something that you are more comfortable and accustomed to? I think that if you keep playing sober, you'll end up better than while being drunk but... it might take same time. :3

According to the matches I had the last days 90% of all players seem to be drunk/stoned...

For most players, playing WoT drunk (or even after just a couple of beers) demonstrates why it's such a bad idea to drive a car while intoxicated. (but it is fun!)

For you I guess it might be a bit like dart, apparently it helps you get in the right frame of mind... strange, but stranger things have been spotted on the internet.

How to win at WoT:

1) Cry at piss poor team

2) Pour a glass of good Whisky

3) Pour a second one

4) ???

5) You have magically gained xp and credits, and have woken up the next morning [edited]

Still a standard way to pass a Fri / Sat evening. Pour wine down the wife's neck till she goes to bed early then stay up and play tanks!

That way the wife gets the hangover and I play with a clear(ish) head.

Of course sometimes she spots that I'm not drinking as fast and she starts pouring me whiskies and then all hell breaks loose.

Ramming KVs in my M3 Stuart, going for big air in the Sand River dunes in my Pz1C, trying to powerslide the corner on Himmelsdorf hill in my T71...

I find that being slightly drunk makes me play better in longer sessions. Losing and generally playing bad doesn't frustrate me as much so the aggression doesn't keep piling up. It's easier to concentrate and play well when you don't have steam coming out of your ears.

There's actually certain people who play better while tipsy, mostly because they lose that sense of fear and hesitation one usually has. However, you can't really tell if that's the case or if it's just coincidence unless it keeps happening repeatedly. A one-time-only thing can very much be random. Yes, I'd know... :hiding:

Couple beers and I'm much better. Surprisingly enough, stats usually support that notion :)

Couple more and teammates start to annoy. They're always at the wrong place and doing wrong things.

After that it's just pure downhill. With occasional godlike arty match.
