Just got teamkilled when capping 80% on a battle that was 12 - 12 by my team mate. I was in a Stuart in a Tier 7 battle with 36 hp. What do you expect against a Comet, Hummel (nowhere to be found) and a T34-85, Right, I capped.

Here my dear teamkiller > a message to you

What a swine! I'd be pretty peeved too.

Just finished a Lakeville Encounter battle (tier 5) where I was playing a Chi-Ha and was actively encouraged by my heavier team mates to "get in the circle!", with the battle at 12-10 to us.

Take the time and hassle to send in the replay direct to WG on a support ticket.

Class it as harrassment / unfair play (dont mention team damage) and you stand a chance of some one looking at it.

We had: an IS (600hp), a T49 (140 HP) and me (36HP) against an unspotted Hummel, the T34-85 had full health and the Comet had 700. The hero in the IS wanted to kill all and failed badly...if only he let me cap we'd won. Some people....

If you would actually help the team and not cap [edited], you could easily handle the situation.

Why overcomplicate things and take a huge risk or simply win. I mean one of their tanks only had to fart to kill me.

I won't bite to your trolling anymore:hiding:

To be honest, sometimes when there's another 4k damage to do at the enemy team and some scrub with 500 WN8 is capping (I dont mean to the guy that opened the topic), i really want to shoot him. I'm struggling to dont do it every time..

I genuinly hate capping the base and you guys who want to play it safe because "hurr durr they might kill my tank, better cap and win" really take out all the tension of this game.

Unfortunately "Don't cap...kill all!" is a fairly common problem among players.

Fair enough, if victory is fairly certain, or its early in the battle, there is no need to cap, but in tight battles where 1 or 2 kills either side could affect the outcome, capping is a sensible strategy.

Especially if the remaining enemy are a long way from the cap zone, or you're not sure where they are and don't want to risk blundering into an ambush.

My point exactly. I won't cap if we have 5 more tanks, but 12-12 is too tricky certainly if you assess the situation. If they had tier 5s left, it would be a different thing.

You can't even trust 95% of your teammates. OP capping in his Stuart was logical.

When driving my (s)Lowe if I'm near cap I will cap and try and let them come to me instead of trying to hunt down anything other then maybe a british td, and I have not been shot in it for capping more then once in the 16xx battles I fought in it.

But I can remember getting shot for capping in faster lights/meds quite a lot more, seems guys don't think a light/med can retaliate in favor of running away or something...

Block Quote

Standard Battle

In this game mode there are two bases. You must either eliminate the opposing team or capture their base within 15 minutes to be victorious.

Nuff said. I play competitive games to win. Not to grind exp/creds.

I don't normally cap much but whenever one of my slow tanks makes it to the cap circle, it's a sense of achievement. Though I always ask the team first "Cap or no cap?." To be honest, you use your better judgement and decide if a cap is needed or not. I think because of teams falling so fast these days, it has lead to more capping than we have seen before. People just don't want to risk a loss, more so if you have just lost 5+ battles previously. Shooting a team mate on the cap though is pretty low because a win is a win after all.

It's always funny (and sad) to see people being so obsessed with "Kill 'em all!". Especially when it comes from players who totally overestimating themselves, or have no concept of time. I'd take capping any day if the time is limited to find unspotted targets, or if the team is badly battered, like in the OP's case. Some people just need to tone down their ROARIMMAKILLUALL wannabe ego trip and simply let it go for the sake of a certain win instead.

A win is a win,and this is a game, if the cap is a viable option then cap, I have been in many games when the kill all policy has backfired and we lose.
